Thank you for the video! I used the Rust-Oleum spray paint on my sink, but unfortunately, it failed as the finishing texture feels gritty like sandpaper. I'm seeking an alternative solution. Could you please let me know if this paint provides a smooth finish? Thank you!
Ok I have gotten this and the appliance kit. So I got really stupid and decided to go over my bathroom counter, which I had used the tub& tile kit first and I ruined it. So they are both great but the tub & tile 2 part is amazing and like you I did the 2 part in parts… and my bathroom looked amazing I got mines from amazon which cost $43 but it’s really nice, no stains… so I ordered another tub & tile to fix the mess I made, I plan on trying it on my kitchen counter.. a little nervous…. We will see how it goes….
You can save it. Put some stripper on it, cover it with plastic for a few hours and it will come off. Paper towels and lacquer will finish it up after that.
A standard tub & shower combination requires quarts of the product. Also, use a 1/4 inch nap roller (per instructions), not a foam roller. Nap works great; foam breaks apart and doesn't apply as well. For touch ups, use Rustoleum tub & tile spray paint.
If you use a nap roller ,it will leave it looking and feeling like a 40 grit piece of sand paper. . HVLP. spray it !! 2nd option is to stick with the instructions and use the foam roller. So please don't lead people in the wrong direction. You wouldn't be able to take a bath. The surface would not feel good on your butt, and forget letting the kids use it. Peace ✌
Great video but does this kit come in different color options? Planing to refinish the pan area only on our walk-in shower and it's charcoal gray. Am wondering if I could add some type of tint/dye to achieve this and if so, what do you recommend?
How good is that product with the HOT water??? I’m asking because some people they like the water on them so hot where your skin starts falling apart!!! Plus there is some customers asking about updating their tub!!!
The job we did in the video has been up for a while now, and it hasn’t had any issues so far. I’m not sure how hot the tenants have been showering though. But so far I don’t have any complaints.
Surprisingly… YES! I was unsure how it would hold up but I am pleasantly impressed with how it has lasted. (To be fair I figured it would start peeling within 6 months or so) prep work was key and sealing all the edges where it meets the tub properly. Really a good product in my opinion
WOW!……this looks great!
It really does… if it holds up a couple years I’d say it is a win

How has it helped up years later???
I did mine 3 years ago. Holding up great . The thicker the better. So I used up 2 set.

@@SkyManagement That’s cool and I truly appreciate the reply/info.
Thank you!!!
Is this still holding up well?

How long before the paint gets thick?
The can says rollers are not recommended in bold. Does it matter? Id prefer to roll it and everyone does it
Rolling uses more paint product, brush is more practical for application.
@@LordDash-r5pdoes the brush leave streak marks? Or any tips on how to avoid streaks?
hahahahhahahahhahahhaha lol
was fun the way you said hi
Landlord special!
Not bad
It's December 2024 and that kit is nearly $40 now. fJB
Nice... Let me know how it holds up!
