I love how Wynn and other party members keep warning you about Morrigan and that she’s bad news with ulterior motives. DAO: “I will raise the child apart fro the rest of society....” DAI: “No son of mine will be raised in a marsh, breath of contact from the outside world.” Great character development for her.
The game was released before games like Witcher 2 would set the standard for what was allowed to be shown during “intimate moments” in games and where the line was really drawn to the amount of exposure permitted in order to maintain a M rating. Same goes for its sequel.

@@spacejesus6581 It's not that simple. Warden does not have a canon look, therefore, making sure the child can resemble every potential father, as well as any potential Warden combination, would be unreal.
This is a complex and interesting love story that can make the ending even more intriguing. Imagine: your lover saves your life, but says they will have to separate while she carries your child. In addition to considering that the actress has a sensual voice, I like the personality and vision of Morrigan, even if I do not agree. But best of all is to witness the happiness of the character after knowing love and how she is thrilled to feel or hear that you really care about her. Oh, I know she tries to avoid or reaffirm the weakness of giving in to feelings, but it's lovely to see Morrigan without "defenses" against something important inside her.

Am I the only one struck by the parallels between Morrigan and Solas' Romances. I mean, they're both powerful mages of dubious morality who fall in love with the main character of their respective games, but also have alterior motives they chose to hide from the one they love. You know at first when I played DA I was surprised at how... easy Morrigan was. Seriously a couple of gifts and a few good words you can sleep with her as soon as you leave Lothering. When you beat the game and really think about it... Flemeth had taught Morrigan the ritual to making an Old God child, and considering her other option was Alistair... Of course it was only to get you used to the idea of... preforming with her. But then as you build a relationship she actually doesn't get into bed with you. She starts finding it harder because she's conflicted with her emotions for you right until the final night where she HAS to make you the offer.
LvXGameMaster she only learns of the ritual from the book you loot from Flemeth and this happens very late. So actually she‘s just a little babygirl, who, for the first time in her life, encounters somebody to find her attractive.
@@attenberg That's a fair assumption. But she'll offer the ritual even if you don't get Flemeth's book. She's new to the world, but definitely NOT a babygirl.

34:00 - Morrigan looks so sad when the Human Mage reveals he had a loving relationship with his mother. Worse yet is that the Human Mage only likely knew his mother from letters, but with that barrier he still had a better relationship with Revka Amell than Morrigan had with Flemeth.
33:53 is one of my favorite moments because here we see a bit of Morrigan’s humanity. The Warden states that he loves his mother and Morrigan has this look of sadness and she admits that she’s envious of him. This only lasts a couple of seconds yet it says so much about Morrigan and her relationship with Flemmeth. Morrigan clearly loves her mother and wishes they could’ve been closer, like The Warden and his mother, but Flemmeth being Flemmeth she showed affection towards Morrigan in her own way (by making her stronger) but Morrigan didn’t pick up on that. I like to believe that’s one of the reasons why Morrigan is a lot more mellow and very affectionate towards Kieran, she wants to make sure that he knows that she loves him dearly because she believed that Flemmeth didn’t love her (which is false. Flemmeth loved Morrigan but had trouble showing it).
Honestly the script Writer especially whomever was responsible for Morrigans lines is a genius. All of her speech is so eloquent and can sting you with little effort
I really love how in the end she, out of all people, enjoyed living a domestic life with her husband and son. Both she and The Warden actually loved living a somewhat "normal" life 💓
Always loved Morrigan because omg her voice is soooo great. Very emotional and deep. Perfect for her character. Although I never romanced her (only female warden for me) and in my first playthrough I was like: seriously girl, let your dear friend do the ritual/have the child so Alistair and I would have a chance to be parent. Still a bit bitter about it ;) But i love to see her being more open in her romance, more reachable and more soft.
On my first playthrough, I made the mistake of going for the romance instantly (choosing the most obvious romance options) and only later found out that the best most meaningful way to pursue it is thru friends who grow into lovers as Morrigans transformation is more natural and not such 180. You can actually see Morrigan grow closer to the warden and even get some hidden dialogue which is not unlocked if you go for romance straightforward. True you sacrifice like one romance scene and some kiss scenes, but to see the progression of Morrigan this way is so satisfying and rewarding! This way also explains why Morrigan turned so exposed and vulnerable during the Inquisition.
I recently started playing through the DA games again and funny enough, I've NEVER romanced Morrigan haha~ I always end up romancing Zev in Origins ^^ But Morrigan is such a beautiful and complex character, she just hides her depth from plain sight. I don't know if she's my favourite character of all time but she's definitely up there in the top 5!
I’m so glad I always play a male human who romances Morrigan. I could never play as a girl to romance Alistar and have to deal with the terribleness of the ritual. It’s so messed up.

I played this on Xbox 360 I was borrowing this game from a friend and I remember going out of my way to get this DLC (some how I acquired it), and this is where I left my Grey Warden. Through the portal with Morrigan and never seen again. I was truly addicted to this game with so many different playthroughs, stories and romances, but this one here is where I put the game down and never returned as this is how I concluded the game with my first character Salem. So, which origin do you think suits Morrigan love story the best? Sole survivor of a noble family? Damaged and abused city elf? Dalish Elf living in solitude and tradition? Betrayed Dwarven prince? A Dwarven mob who once had a chance to be great? Or...... A mage, raised in a cage called mage circle, who never knew freedom and wilderness.....

This is a beautiful version of Morrigan, Cat's eyes and all. I did a search for a Morrigan Mod that resembled this specific look on Nexus.. and couldn't find it. Could you take a few moments and share?
I don't think Dana ever replies to anyone asking for his/her mods. If you're up to it, you could make your own morph with the toolset. I made mine based on Dragon Age Redesigned (Morrigan WIP) design.
@@dantindell336 You're welcome. If I had to guess, though, Dana was most likely using Morrigan Face morph by Denninator - slightly tweaked to have dark purple eye shadow and lip color.

Oh dear, it's truly ridiculous how similar to love the feelings I have for her are. On the other hand she's a mix between two of my exes and my mother, so I guess it's rather natural. :-D
The beautiful Morrigan is truly worth romancing. Who would have thought she is going to help the Inquisitor later on down the road to restore order. It just sucks who her mother truly is when you find out.
My favourite thing about morrigan is that she agrees with more evil choices with your warden such as having the werewolves in your army and becoming a reaver
Morrigan just oozes badass b1tch. Her voice - deep (but still feminine, like salted caramel), elegant, and cunning. Not overly emotional and cheesy. And doesn't play the forced, ''strong woman'' .
I don't have witch hunt dlc, and not buying for such an old game I got for free. I'm so glad to see that Morg doesn't just abandon Warden after all that they've been through
Ooh! These mods are dope. The Grey Warden recruits look so strapping and dignified in there Grey Warden uniforms! Alistair too. Do you know how to add these mods to XBox One?
AdeptDamage Inquisition was actually compelling in some areas for romances, and the romance between Elf Maiden and Solas took on an epic quality. But, since the rest of the game lacked the epic feel and writing of Origins, much was lost in the romances. Consider this: the city elf Origin story (rape, murder, arson and rape) coupled with the "betrayal" aspect of the Solas romance. But instead, you get a elongated series of fetch quests with a Solas romance.
@@adeptdamage3669 I like the visuals and the plot (while generic) wasn't unenjoyable. BUUUT the pacing is awful. There are really only 8 main quests in an 80 hour game. That's to be expected in an open world game but unfortunately the open world doesn't make up for that in any way - the side missions are tedious and the terrain, while pretty, is irritating to navigate.
I wished this would get a remake, better graphics and our warden with a voice. Wouldn't change Morrigan's look though, at least I think she looked better here than in inquisition. Nevertheless, still my number one DA romance. Without the dlc to cheese everyones friendship she makes us work for her romance with lots of talking, I mean in that she constantly tries to push our guy away until she finally gives in to our persistence

Tsunderes are so frustrating...but oddly attractive just as same.
FalconRS forbidden fruit has the best taste
I like Morrigan as a character, shes great and smug.... the dialogue between her and alistar can be quite funny... with great voice acting..and captain Janeway is her mom, how cool is that 😀😀
Still the best female romance in a game till this day.
Two words mate...
Liara T'soni.
You probably meant Tali'Zorah Jack.
No, I really didn't. Tali's a very good romance option, I will say, but give me the blue girl and all the blue babies anytime. Liara/Shepard all the way.
Triss Merigold
Triss isn't even the best female romance in her own game, let alone all games. She's third, out of two.
I always hated how everyone hated her I loved morrigan since the beginning I met her xD
Everyone hated her? Why? Who? Get rid of them.
Who, I thought everyone loved her
Emperor Gameling I don’t think anyone hated her thou
I insta crushing on her the second she walked out of thoes ruins. Why I was polite (aside from snickering under my breath from the rest of the recruits being idiots)
Thanks much for the reply!
@@dantindell336 You're welcome. If I had to guess, though, Dana was most likely using Morrigan Face morph by Denninator - slightly tweaked to have dark purple eye shadow and lip color.
@@brahmantyoihsan5938 If you go now to Denninator's nexus page, Morrigan's morph, image "01", then compare it to this time stamp 00:35, you can clearly see it. Thank you both very much, i've been looking for this for a while. Whenever I begin with the game, i'll try what you said about the toolset, though i have no idea what do you mean or how does it work xd.
eyes different too
I love her, Miranda Lawson & Lana Beniko! :D
Lana from what video game?
the storytelling on this game is amazing. The characters are so well developed!
Lulu called, she wants her belts back.
Lulu is the Morrigan before Morrigan
Darth Revan is romancing Morrigan!
That's if went with a male Revan.
I like to think Dog went with them but he was just out of focus.
Biowares best romance, by far.
Man this game is something else. Da:2 and Da:I has nothing on this game. Best rpg imo.
Her voice is so sensual and soothing. It’s like chocolate 🥰
She's cute when she's nervous.
My favourite romance!
same here :D
At par with Alistair,
which isnt a thing
to scoff at.
Oh dear, it's truly ridiculous how similar to love the feelings I have for her are. On the other hand she's a mix between two of my exes and my mother, so I guess it's rather natural. :-D
The Catwoman of Dragon Age, she’s awesome
Warden: murders a child in cold blood
Morrigan: approves
AYO I FORGOT THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED MY BOY THRUSTING WHDJWVD
The beautiful Morrigan is truly worth romancing. Who would have thought she is going to help the Inquisitor later on down the road to restore order. It just sucks who her mother truly is when you find out.
My favourite thing about morrigan is that she agrees with more evil choices with your warden such as having the werewolves in your army and becoming a reaver
I'm glad to have this video back in public.
You did a fantastic job on this one keep up the work I’m looking forward to the next video That is good as this one
Dragon age origin the best dragon age. Period!!
What an amazing character she is :/ Too bad not romancable in inquisition .
right??? and she looks so amazing in inquisition
Morrigan just oozes badass b1tch. Her voice - deep (but still feminine, like salted caramel), elegant, and cunning. Not overly emotional and cheesy. And doesn't play the forced, ''strong woman'' .
The sex scenes were very corny to me though. I remember seeing a playthrough as a kid.
Not if you modded it
Finally, the end i was always wanting to be. She was great, and i was always ready to stand by here cause.
''Can you cook?'' Ah Alistair, never lose those priorities.
He never asked about the book.
Zevran for my female warden and morrigon for my male warden.
This one turn out great as the others did to keep up the good work man this once turns out My favorite one
great video love all your dragon age videos!!
Damn you just leave your poor dog behind like that, cold. Lol.
Best ending to the game
Flemeth has the appearance that she uses in Dragon age II
I don't have witch hunt dlc, and not buying for such an old game I got for free. I'm so glad to see that Morg doesn't just abandon Warden after all that they've been through
Uh it’s really unfair how perfect Morrigan’s romance is compared to others... :(
Dana I always loved the characters you created.
The music during the romance scenes is so beautiful is there a link to it anywhere?
Pretty late but Aubrey Ashburn-love song
Best game ever. Thanks for this video! Subscribed.
Ooh! These mods are dope. The Grey Warden recruits look so strapping and dignified in there Grey Warden uniforms! Alistair too.
Do you know how to add these mods to XBox One?
The mods are PC exclusive
And then Dragon Age II happened. And everybody who played Origins with this romance line with this ending went... well that sequel sucks.
What about Inquisition?
Ya, and give Morrigan a new voice and more a little more contractive, too.
If the pots warmer than this forest it will be a nice change LOL
Hero: Alright
Years later
Hero: Ah sh*t I still have to sacrifice myself for my child
35:18 bars
Oh my god, her laugh.
I fell in love playing these game and I havent play in a long time and I dont even have a xbox360 anymore...and the year is 2020 and we have xbox series and ps5 coming at the end of the year and we have xboxone and ps4 with great games bt I want play this game again for some reason
Xbox One is backwards compatible with this game, Xbox Series X could be too
Morrigan, waifu for life!
Watching this makes me want to play it and make her my romance which is what I will do.
Never got tired of seeing Morrigan walking like a chad
