I have the "basic" carbon copy, and this is almost the same, only with extra knobs for de mod setting and the tempo thing I think it's useless(for me) but nice demo anyway

Very strange. You had to set the mix very high to be able to hear the delay effect. I have the regular carbon copy and in my rig I can't go over 3 o clock because it is too intense. Does you amp effects loop is series or parallel? If it is parallel that would explain why the effect is so discrete

Read the manual. The mix knob is designed that way intentionally for use with high gain amps that don't have an effects loop.
