- Honestly something I don't get to do enough of is take photos for myself. I'm always working wedding photography and taking photos for others. But when I visited Japan for the first time I was able to take some Japanese street photography with my Fujifilm X-S20. This is the best travel camera and I hope to take photos for myself more often.

I'm currently in a big ol' depression hole with only the faint hope of one day becoming a professional photographer, so all of my photos are really just art for myself. With that said, when I interned at a photo studio and used the camera professionally for hours a day, I still had that drive to take it with me on breaks and capture the urban area around the shopping center we were located in. It's all on the dedication to photography. Maybe my autism helps.
In Philly by chance? We have RECPhilly here and it just sounds like that lol
Full on went to Fuji from this channel. I travel with the 27mm pancake and XT5 and no longer worry about picking cameras or lenses to take out. Makes it all about the photo and not gear selection. So fun. Thanks John!!
I love the 27mm pancake so much. It's such a great lens and brings the results every time.
I know exactly what you’re saying. It is such a great feeling to get out and shoot for yourself. My XS20 is the best camera to make this happen.
I really enjoyed this video It’s so refreshing to shoot for yourself I recently started taking my camera with me on vacation it’s like a whole new world of photography that I never thought I would enjoy.
I’ve been getting more gigs with my photography lately and have gotten overwhelmed with editing. I’m a newbie but now I’m currently traveling through Seattle and Denver and I plan on taking tons of photos for fun! Also getting pics of the cherry blossoms like you John!
It does look like a lot of fun for street photography!
It's an amazing little camera.
@@jbivphotography indeed, but my goal is still XH2 😂
Interesting. Coming from the x-t30 to x-t5, I had a similar experience of the 27mm pancake just coming alive. The autofocus noise, speed, and hunting feels less on the t5 (~same software/drive as s20). Really nice to use and play :)
LOVE THIS 1 MATE, PLEASE SHOW US HOW TO DO LONG EXPOSURE AND DOUBLE EXPOSURE, HOW DID YOU ACTIVE THAT HORIZONTAL LINE ON THE SCREEN
informative content
Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed it.
I've been using my X-S20 for my family and travel photos and videos.
It's such an amazing camera. I'm a huge fan.
@@jbivphotography for the price it can't be beat in my opinion.
do you have any recommendations for how to configure settings on the xs20? i've seen a few in depth videos for the xhs2 or xt5, would the menu options be the same?
John, many Nikon, Sony, Canon users seem to gravitate to Fujifilm camera for Fun/Family shooting. These companies typically offer a smaller form factor to accommodated traveling but people seem to skip over them. In your case you actually use Fuji for your professional work, do you ever get bored or tempted to get another camera like (RicohGR3) to fit in to your lifestyle or the fun factor is still there?
What’s the camera strap you have that is brown ? I’ve never seen a hand strap that is using a 1/4 screw mount . How do I find that or do you have a link ?
how do you take pov videos of your camera?
Hi john, im gonna get a fuji for thr first time and want to do wedding photography in uk,
what camera do you reccomend from:
X-T5, X-H2 OR X-H2S?
also what lens should i start out with? I can only get 1 possibly 2...
If you want resolution I would suggest the X-T5 or X-H2 (choose based one which body you like better). If you want the best autofocus go with the X-H2s. For lenses I'm a fan of primes Honestly you can't go wrong with the 33 f.14 good middle ground focal length that will also have amazing results.
I have been considering to buy this camera for a while now. Also, the rumours are that XT50 is coming out soon. Would you suggest getting XS20 now or wait for the XT50?
Wait obviously
