I love videos related to nutrition, but they can often be triggering for me. However, your channel is a perfect mix of health AND satisfaction! TH-camrs like you are so reassuring-thank you! ☺️❤️

I recently ran into your channel and it has helped me so much. I have worked in the fitness industry for about 10 years and it is tough. Since taking on your tips, I haven’t been near as hyper focused on food. It’s been so nice! Going and having donuts for breakfast with my kids without judging donut as “bad” and coming with a big side of guilt was really awesome. I greatly appreciate your work.

I have been watching a lot of your videos lately and you have teach me that having a healthy relationship with food is the most important thing when it comes to eating. I have learned so much with this chanelle! Now I know felling comfortable and good with food is better than feeling hungry and looking "good" 💕

I LOVE your warm salad kit idea; I’ll be trying that this week!

I like the warm salad idea! There's a restaurant in my area called Cup Bop and they sell stuff that's basically like that. I can make this when I have a Cup Bop craving but don't want to go out!

What people don't realize is that eating junk food don't make anyone feel good. I myself feel very heavy eating junk food versus eating quality nutritive food even at the same weight!

I appreciate these videos! there are a lot of videos out there from dietitians on debunking and rejecting diet culture but I need more info on how to incorporate healthy eating without dieting, after already doing away with diet culture. Thank you!

I love this video. It was very helpful!
I will say, the amount of carbs you eat in a day makes me cringe because of all the food rules I have.
Currently reading the intuitive rating book but it just all sounds too good to be true so far.
    I’m trying 😬

I have tried intuitive eating 3 times. Reason I fall off is I have a problem identifying when I feel hungry and end up being too hungry. This time I eat 3 meals with no snacks unless physically hungry and concentrate on stop eating when 80% satisfied. This working better for me and I have lasted longer and feel more satisfied with approach. All this is more sustainable and eliminates deprivation problems. How I handle unscheduled snacks is I will hold it until my next meal and incorporate it. In my mind I can still have it just wait until my next meal. For example I like pumpkin pie sand one slice once is not enough. Now I know I can have it multiple meals if desired. Helps because I don't have the drive to eat 2 slices because I can have it again at another meal. Yes I would lose faster if I only ate when hungry. What happens for me is if I overeat I may skip a meal here and there because I am not hungry. The biggest plus for me is no longer snacking at noght

I just found your channel last week and have been loving your videos! I have tried the Beachbody ultimate portion fix and I saw some success but I like the more relaxed way of eating that you teach us. I still kind of use them as a guide to make sure I'm eating all the food groups.

Can so relate to the candy bar. Now I can get a king size and eat what I want and move on. Same with a regular size bag. Such freedom!!!

I have just started watching your videos and just love them! I haven't watched all your videos, but I was wondering, what do you do to not feel deprived? Do you always keep sweets in your home? In my house the sweets always get eaten really fast. I think I eat a lot because I know they will disappear quickly. It kind of puts the food on a pedestal.

    • @ColleenChristensen
      @ColleenChristensen  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Absolutely, there can be some entitlement eating going on. It helps to remind yourself that the food will always be there, OR you can go to the store to get it whenever you want! That can take the urgency out of needing to get it right now!

I’m still wanting to eat a lot of sweet food before bed/after dinner partly because I’m craving it and partly because it’s emotionally helping me with stress and giving me the happiness high from it but I’m putting on weight slowly but surely which doesn’t feel good for me, any advice please? X

I was doing intuitive eating for 4 years. I threw away my scale… but during health chk i realized I gained 5kg for real. I actually ate a bit too much that im quite sure. Because food is kind of addicting out of my experience.

How long did it take you to retrain your body to eat like this? I’m currently doing Intermittent fasting and I’ve had huge sugar cravings which you explained why. Have you always been thin? I just wish I could eat like this and not overeat binge on sweets, etc.

Cilantro tastes like soap to me, and a lot of other people. I wish that people who like the taste of cilantro could tell us what tastes similar to it, so we cilantro soap people can find out what it would taste like without the soapy element.

You could try dill, or Basil, or mint
They have different flavor but maybe you will like those
