    Great Video, learning a lot about mineralization, oxidation, deposits, etc...If possible , for us newbies, when holding samples in your hand, could you point using your carbide pen to the different minerals you're describing when showing us the rocks. It would help us put a face to the pyrites, sulfides, iron prtites, quartz veining, fools gold, etc...Knowing what to look for and tracing the source, valuable knowledge......Fascinating content, thank you for your hard work.

    Amazing how trees of that size can root and survive (up to a point) in such shallow conditions. Those trees probably sprouted in some leaf litter overlying a 5cm thick layer of moss. then grew to those sizes sitting on a mat of thin scraggly roots about a foot deep, trip out. Oh, and yeah, using that pen to specifically point out minerals is very helpful for learning what i am looking at .

    A few thoughts:
    -Those last few samples seem to show grade running in sections of high cloritization. The high Mn values could be from Clorite.
    -It looks like the ground allows for easy trenching.
    - I enjoyed the in depth analysis.
    Congrats on the big find! I could see this property gaining some interest from juniors looking to run geophysics on the area.
    Good luck!

      I'm getting the word out as we speak. I'm not sure if anyone has the money right now but it doesn't hurt.
      If you're able, would you be able to PM me a property name (minefile reference?) on Patreon? Feel free to hold off on that until you guys finish claiming the relevant ground. That's probably going to be the first question I get asked.

    Have you fellas happened to have found the old Victoria claim above the Chemainus river? I believe it had a pretty decent adit but I haven't been able to find it.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Had a quick look around years ago for a company. The adit entrance is collapsed/blasted over majorly no getting in without extensive work, if you went on the river you probably walked over it...The claims currently staked though.

    While am living around streams and rivers at foothills composing of various rock types there is no geological evidence of gold deposits because of lack of research,am hoping there might exists. Does it exists anywhere with the above elements, it'll be helpful if enlighten.

    Good video. You show the breakdown of mineral deposits in the ore samples. How much gold, silver, copper ect. does there have to be in order to make mining and processing it profitable? I know it will vary from site to site depending on local conditions. Some of your samples are showing 20 plus g/ton. A rough guestamate would be great.

    • @911mining
      @911mining  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The trouble with small deposits is we couldn't get a refinery intrested in low tonnage unless its exceptional grade like 3oz ton gold. Something like 10 or 20 tonnes maybe a bit less. We have a lot of good grade low tonnage deposits which are ok for small scale work. Sometimes well extract some if we can get a buyer intrested and well ship some to them or let them pick it up. The trouble with extraction unless it's done by hand you need, permits, equipment consults...ect

    • @scottmaschino1927
      @scottmaschino1927 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      And all those permits and everything eats away any chance of profit. I wasn't sure if modern tech was able to make it efficient enough to go for the stuff the old timers weren't able to see or work.
      Thanks for the reply.

  • @michaeljmasseri973
    @michaeljmasseri973 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So what does sulfide mean? Cuz I know where there's a mountain full of it so much that Brook that runs off from this Mountain Lake turns orange every year and stinks real bad. They used to mine for iron there but for some reason stopped abruptly. And this mountain is constantly monitored bye a police force that isn't even part of that town. They say it's because it's part of this certain other towns property, somehow. I believe after watching this video that it's possible that there's more to it and they know what they're really sitting on. Let me know this is the first time I've ever saw one of these videos I happen to have an eye for things

    • @911mining
      @911mining  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Iron sulfides are minerals which contain iron and sulfur.
      Example
      Pyrite - Iron and sulfur
      Galena - Iron, Sulfur, lead, silver
      Chalcopyrite - iron, sulfur, copper
      However you will get certification elements replacing certain elements say a little gold replacing some of the iron, or a little zinc. This wouldn't of been mined for iron most likely silver, gold, copper, lead and zinc a combination of those minerals there's massive mines on this mountain and hoards of smaller ones which mines massive sulfides. We included any analysis results at the end of the video.
