    while backpacking here my wife and I were awakened by 30 plus Roosevelt Elk, it was awesome! great video thanks for sharing.

    Hey great video. i am planning a backpacking trip and redwoods national park seems very nice. One quick question though, is there plenty of trees around the campsite to set up a hammock?

      Lenny Boy Yes, you should have no problem finding trees.

    Hi, great video! I was wondering how you were able to park at the Tall Trees lot overnight? I thought the lock code is only valid for a single day? How did you exit?

      You can indicate on your permit at the ranger station your entry and exit dates.
