The UF-8 rating for AWG 6 power cable is at a temperature of 140F at 55 amps and 167F at 65 amps (USE). So some heat is acceptable and safe, larger cable is better and wastes less energy. All rated power cable will handle this. I personally use the UF-8 ratings as my absolute safety limit for maximum load.

I mean we all know cheap wires are given, and we all know they will overheat, so why not just test it with proper cables so you know the heat may not just the cables, but the heat sinks could be tested with proper cables installed..
To me you are prematurely failing the test, without proper cables, spend the extra 10 minutes using the proper size cable.

I feel like these inverter companies need to be held accountable for EVERYTHING that they send with the product, even the wires. This could cost someone their home. As a reviewer, I don't feel comfortable saying this is a great inverter because the copper terminals were loose and had a lot of wiggle in them. So I wasn't impressed with that. Either way, the actual case was like 125 degrees and was too hot for my comfort. Could I have tested it with larger wires, and it might have passed??? Maybe so, but JJN engineers knew better than to send an undersized wire, and hopefully, they will watch the video and make improvements and fix the terminals and wire size. Besides, I've tested my other Inverters with the wires that was provided, and I don't recall another inverter case getting that hot. So I'm testing all of the inverters to the same standard. Who knows, I might make a video on how much difference a good quality wire makes and use this inverter as my test subject. Thanks for watching, I appreciate your feedback.

      Yes do this!
I'm not saying a company should not be held responsible for sending improper sized cables, just you could or should show.testing results WITH proper sized cables.
Yes do this!, no maybes do it.
As a retired corporate trainer we would show what happens if you use subpar or wrongly calculate current strength cables and taking the time to use properly sized cables.
Almost every company ( even top companies )scimp on the cables. from what I seen.
I also see reviewer just make newer cables and test and others just do the supplied cables knowing most are inferior, but yet to see any do both in a single video.
For a customer, I think they want to actually see the results of a full test.
