Thanks for the lesson! For columns, try the SHRINKWrap node! The hook is not good. You will get automatic alignment of the height of the columns on the surface
This one was amazing. I am learning so the first one was wat too fast. Interesting this bridge looks very much like the one I was trying to do. Garden City Skyway St Catharines Ontario Canada. Thank you. I will look at your course.
Thanks. I had to look up the meaning of clothoids. In this case, this is not a real road simulation, but a quick way to put a road together, but yes, having proper curvature when needed would be a nice benefit.
Thanks for all your amazing tutorials! Wonder to know how is your Rhino- Blender workflow for visualization 🙏🏻. I have many issues with UV mapping and topology when I export from rhino. Thanks for all!!
There is an addon that comes with blender called Magic Uv. Once you enable it, in the uv menu in edit mode, you get a lot of new options including UVW box. With this unwrapping, all objects have the same uv scale making it easy to apply materials. Hope this helps
There is an alternative to the Hook modifier to build parallels objects along the curve? in my case, the bridge have a complex shape and I placed it in another meshs, I'm looking for a away that I can duplicate/deform it only along the XY axis, with Z as constant.
Cool, I will test it. To solve the orientation problem I've used face replicators along the curve, and after applied the modifier, I scaled down to zero all individual faces on Z axis, making the bridge supports parallel to the ground (the cons of this method is the bridge is not procedural anymore, but for my little project it worked)
I use a Rode Podmic with focusrite Scarllett. I either record audio with video in OBS or audio separately in Audacity. I edit with Davinci Resolve, so the post processing is done directly in Resolve as shown here: th-cam.com/video/lAk_QydS87E/w-d-xo.html
@@UHStudio Thank you for sharing. I find OBS pretty amazing specifically with the VST plug-ins in it. I noticed that in this video your voice sound has a lot less room echo thus I was curious what you did differently. I have teh Rode too and also got the Sontronic which has a software sound.
@@cekuhnen Yes, obs is great! Did my previous videos have more echo? I've been using this setup for a while but sometimes talking head videos have a video mic on top of the cam.
Nice video! We have to differentiate a little bit! Your channel is a good inspiration for architectural work and you are proving that blender can do it, from the modeling to the visualization. But you cant do bridges (in common, straight ones with rectangular crossing angle are possible) in blender beyond pc game level design asset. At least not with the normal workflows and not with blender vanilla. you would need to do extensive programming or visual scripting with the sverchok nodes to make this really work! No offense, Im just saying - because Im not sure how to classify this video regarding your other content. If a level designer made this tutorial in a "I show you how to do a bridge for your racing game" context, it would be perfect! If the context was serious architecture, we would have to put a questionmarkt behind the video title! But keep up the work! It`s good content and you cover an interessting niche!
Finally I understand what is it mean procedural. Ty
You're welcome!

Nice tip! Yes can work indeed as well with shrink-wrap and the vertex group.
Great tutorial, thank you sir! :)
Cheers glad it's helpful.
Thank you a lot !
Happy to help!

Thanks for the feedback ;)
Thank you I was waiting for this :)
👍 Happy to help :)
good start. But for real road need to use a parametric curve like clothoids.

Yes there is! Another user kindly mentioned using the Shrinkwrap modifier, set to Project, with the same vertex group as shown in the video.

Quick audio question : I see you use a Rode Podmic
What is your audio interface and how to do you further adjust your audio ?

@@UHStudio that’s then the difference I noticed.
@@UHStudio btw do you use any cloud lifter or preamp or do you mainly adjust the sound level in post pro ?

Why tf wouldnt u show how u added those paths for the curves.
