Solving the Mystery of Birdhouse Ridge

For many years, we have looked south from the #SandiaMountain #NaturalHistoryCenter at a place called Birdhouse Ridge. On that #ridge are some bare spots, and we were never quite sure what they were. In this video, we're venturing there to find out.

Is that accessed from the Otero Trailhead? Less than a mile from the trailhead?
