    Send the old people to war instead then if they feel like this 'great patriotic war' is worth it. Young people still have their whole prosperous life ahead. Majority of elders in Russia still live in the '40s

    • @magnusk9724
      @magnusk9724 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with most of what you said and I am vehemently against the Russian fascist regime, but having studied political science and history, it is a myth that the USSR and nazi Germany were ever allied. They were not close to allied. It was called an unholy pact for a reason. A pact between two regimes absolutely hating each other and planning to go to war against each other in the future, but who cynically dealt politically with each other to gain territory, despite being ideological arch enemies. But they were never close to friendly. Both the circle around Stalin and certainly the nazis around Hitler knew that war was inevitable for a legion of reasons (one of which was of course ideological).
      Of course, i grant you that in practical terms, they were technically allied for a very short period in time on one issue only (particion of Poland and Soviet annexation of the Baltics) and therefore both regimes did scale down the hostile propaganda against each other for a very short period in time. But war was coming and they both knew that, the Soviet was just caught by surprise as to how quickly Germany attacked, so was quite unprepared. Stalin thought he had years still to prepare against war with Germany.

    • @russianpropagandaexposed
      @russianpropagandaexposed ปีที่แล้ว +2

    "Russian people have the collective responsibility for atrocities committed by the Russian army because Russian people, together, are responsible for Russian country, state, and their actions." Artur Rehi, an Estonian youtuber (same channel name) said this 7 days ago, and no truer words have been said about this conflict.
    He said this in response to a Russian college student complaining about the attacks in Belgorod disrupting her studies and that the war should be fought far away from where she was going to school. That is the problem for both Russia and Ukraine. The Russian people aren't taking this seriously, the Russian people are not taking responsibility. The war in Ukraine is 'over there' and not their problem. That needs to change. The war needs to be where they are.
    I don't want to see anyone get hurt. But I do want to see the Russian people see how this war has affected millions of Ukrainians who have for over a year dealt with bombs and missiles and invaders into their peaceful country. In this video I see many Russians wanting to leave Russia and come to Canada or the United States. As an American I say no. You cannot come here. Not unless you go to Guantanamo Bay as a terrorist awaiting trial for war crimes.
    The other thing my country should do is treat Russia like North Korea and put on full sanctions. Nothing in or out of there, not food, not medicine. We should also end our diplomatic missions and pull out all ambassadors and diplomats, evicting theirs from our country. And finally, end all demarcation agreements and treat Russian soldiers and PMC's in our theaters of engagement around the world as enemy combatants. Making any contact within range of our equipment an automatic Red February event.
    And all this will continue until Russia pulls out of Ukraine, returns Crimea, and cedes Belgorod back to Ukrainian sovereignty. Every American should consider agreeing to this and giving that message to their representatives.
