*Star apple* That's everywhere here in our place and it's free but you need to climb or using stick to grab it. and when you look at the little children their cheeks/mouth is grubby cause peel of that fruit has sticky juice specially when it's not yet fully ripe. Seeing them is very fun cause we remember what's was our childhood's like, experience is the very admiring thoughts it's full of emotional story. 😊 God bless ya'll.

Wow, you're eating purple caimito/star apple. I haven't eaten that fruit in years. And haven't seen that either here in groceries in Germany and UK. I guess that fruit has a short shelf life or not enough caimito trees that can warrant export. When its ripe its really sweet, juicy and "fleshy". You can create a concoction with that fruit mix in shaved ice and milk - very delicious, just like the "flesh" of young coconut - mix in shaved ice and milk. It's perfect during hot summer days.

I love starapple/caimito too! We have a tree in our home in QC. Grew up eating that specially every summer when it had so much fruit that they just fell in our yard. Still stands to this day 😊
Finn, Dumaguete slogan is "the city of gentle people." I can't wait for more exploration!.. By the way there's usually more traffic in Dumaguete proper but maybe there's less now cuz people are still locked down. My mouth was watering watching you eat that star apple. So jealous!🤤😜

One thing I know of Dumaguete, it’s the cleanest city in the Phil. long before Davao city was known of Duterte’s mayorship. The road is wide unlike in Cebu ‘cause there’s nothing you can do of the oldest roads unless you relocate those residents again
