My personal favourite case is the Logitech Folio Touch. Great keyboard and trackpad, great materials, feels very premium, more flexible than the Magic Keyboard Case, and function keys.
ESR’s Magnetic Rebound Keyboard&Trackpad Case is so far the best one I’ve come across. I have it for the 12.9” Pro and I like it much better than the Apple’s Magic Keyboard.

Your ideas are great, however incomplete. Why not mention the otterbox defender? There are a lot of people who are not students. We are people on the go and the otter box can hold the iPadAir it two different positions and has a very good cover when not being used. Also why not the Apple holder for the screen? Your review is lacking.
Why would anyone use a case that offers zero drop or twist/crush protection? That’s 90% of the reason I want a case, so my tablet doesn’t break… what do the “minimal” cases do, protect from casual dust when you set it down? Seems nonsensical.
