The first time I watched this awesome series was during the pandemic in 2020. What makes it more memorable for me was when my mother also got hooked on it. She particularly loved Hurrem's strong personality and her ways in fighting for herself, her love for Suleiman and her children. My mother passed on at 84 yo in 2021 but I'm happy that we bonded over this during the covid quarantine months. We both love the series. Now I am rewatching the series and I can't help but recall the times I watched it with my dearesr mother who I miss so much. ❤
So sorry for your loss, the passing of your Mom😢to cherish our loved ones & memories are everything. I'm sure she is watching & covering you from Heaven 🙏

And other sultanas were better than her? No, Valide and Fatma were even worse. And Hurrem mainly protected her lover and kids

I could watch this series all day long. The red-headed Ukranian, slave, then wife, then the only wife. This series was the BEST. You just can't beat a Turkish drama. It's the best soap opera available online. Enjoy one of my favorite shows of all time.

"First, God is ONE GOD who can divide himself up into THREE. On that we agree. But, I believe that those three can be called three "persons". On that we don't agree. It's clear to me that the reason you disagree is because YOU define the word "person" as only applying to one single individual. You can do that. Help yourself! Now, you begin by running to the dictionary to do so and make your point. Yet, you don't give the definition of the other word "TRIUNE" in the same dictionary, which states... "TRI'UNE, adjective [Latin tres and unus.] Three in one; an epithet applied to God, to express the unity of the Godhead IN A TRINITY OF PERSONS." Even the DICTIONARY ITSELF says that God (THE GODHEAD) can be a "trinity" of PERSONS (plural). He can be ONE UNION and still can exist in three separate persons! Will you accept THAT dictionary definition? If not, then you can't try to prove your point from the first definition you gave. For you'd be denying another dictionary definition on this very subject, and that, then, would make your argument null and void!!! If you are going to use the dictionary to prove something, you have to use ALL the pertaining definitions to this subject. Will you do that, or IGNORE it? Second, we are made up of three, but yet we are one. You agree on that point. But, we can also have our three parts divided. For example, When I die, my soul goes to heaven. And, someone seeing me there for the first time could say: "Who's that PERSON?" While at the same time here on earth, someone looks in my casket and asks: "Who's that person?" Am I now two completely different Human Beings? Two Robert Breakers? Or am I the same Robert Breaker, but I'm just manifested as two different "Persons" in the eyes of others. One, in the Spirit world, and the other in the Physical World? No, I'm still ONE Robert Breaker. But, in that illustration, I would be manifesting in two different ways, and would be viewed as two separate "persons." My soul and spirit would be in heaven, while my body would be here on earth. How can you not get that??? The Dictionary shows it clearly! The Bible teaches it clearly! God is ONE GOD in three! And, those three are ONE! WE can call them PERSONS, as one is viewed as a FATHER, the other is viewed as a SON, and the other is viewed as the SPIRIT of both. That does NOT make three different gods! That's a ludicrous argument. Third, you quote: "God is no respecter of Persons." Clearly that is speaking about HUMAN BEINGS in the context of slavery and is not referring to God Himself and Him in three persons. You are TWISTING THAT VERSE OUT OF CONTEXT! That can NEVER lead to anything good! So, I suggest you stop following the heretical man you follow and get back into the BIBLE. Otherwise, you're going in a direction that I cannot follow! For you are departing from the SCRIPTURES and what they teach, as well as the DICTIONARY, and as well as what the TRUE CHURCH (not Catholicism) has believed for almost 2000 years. God is ONE GOD. He consists of three PARTS. God made man (Adam) in his image, and we also consist of three parts. We are TRI-PART beings, as is God. But, it's NOT WRONG to say that God can manifest in three separate "persons" and still be ONE GOD. I proved that from the BIBLE, from the DICTIONARY of the English Language, and from History. You can decide to deny ALL THREE if you like. But, I can't go along that path with you! I will be praying for you, though, that God will OPEN YOUR EYES to the truth! Sincerely, Robert Breaker " - He helps a lot to start to understanding the bible, but unless one can agree with him, one must read the whole bible themselves.
'Magnificent Century') is a Turkish historical fiction television series. Written by Meral Okay and Yılmaz Şahin, it is based on the life of Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the longest-reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and his wife Hürrem Sultan, a slave girl who became the first Ottoman Haseki Sultan.
Nonsense. One means one. Anyone who can read hebrew knows that clearly. Your bible is a misinterpretation and corruption of the sacred hebrew scriptures
where it all started... getting chills rewatching the scene where suleiman reads the letter that bears the news of the start of his reign while simultaneously thinking of all the deaths that will follow for the very same throne; mustafa, mehmad, beyazid and so many others
I used to watch this series 9 years ago when i was working in Iraq as a house maid but they translated in Arabic but my boss really love it am happy to watch it again in English translate
Suleiman has no clue he's gonna be struck by the electric beauty of Alexandra ❤️ these first few episodes are beautifully packed with so much love and hurt at the same time!

My favorite scene of this episode is the opening scene, it shows you how good the music in this show is and how Ibrahim understands Suleiman without him even saying a word, their friendship is everything.
@@lilliehalumi8770 yeah, but Ibrahim put himself in the place of the Sultan,he called himself a Comander or something else like he is the Sultan and Suleiman found out about it and decided to kill him,it's hard to have a friend in whom you don't know if you can trust,as I know Suleiman had many writings or poems in which he talkes about friendship, people think he often regreted killing Ibrahim.Anyhow, one of the best friendships ever.
I have laughed, cried, and been very aggravated with some of the characters, especially Suleiman. All in all it's a wonderful series. The scenery is beautiful and the Arabian horses are gorgeous..my favorite breed. Going to watch again I'm sure
After watching the entire episodes of M.Y. Kösem, I have started to watch this. I have a great love for this television series: the storyline, the great music that stayed throughout the whole series, the evolving stories of each characters and the great actors are all what makes it so impressive.
Can you tel me the connection of this show with Kosem. Yesterday I finished watching Kosem. Now I find this. So I like to know what happens in Turkey after Kosem died. ... and then.
I visited the Topkapi Palace, but I didn't have enough time to see the Harem part, but this series are even better. I love costumed dramas and because of the lack of movies and series of the Byzantium period, I am glad I discovered this series. For years I have watched Chinese and Korean costume drama and these Turkish series is super interesting to watch! So far, the story reminds me of the Chinese drama " Story of Yanxi Palace", one of my favourites.
That's part of way I wish they had kept the rule about the Sultan not sleeping with a concubine after she gives him a son. It's a big part of how much Suleiman loves Hurrem that this was the first rule he broke for her.
If Mahidevran was a concubine, she could not go to halvet after the birth of her first son because the rule was that after the birth of a son, a concubine could not give birth to more male children due to the conflict of interests of the brothers when inheriting the throne, so the rule was one concubine - one son/ prince. On the contrary, Mahidevran was also the Sultan's married wife?
@@svemir5820 in the series, Mahidevran wasn't married to Suleiman . She was like... Umm... Fav concubine maybe ? But definitely wasnt wife .at that time she was the only concubine who gave birth to prince thats why she held more power than others .
@@svemir5820yes she did heir a son/prince for him, but they were never married. In the series or real history. His only marriage I believe was to Hürrem/Alexandra. Also roxanule or something for her red hair
But he started making the ring in thoughts of Mahidevran. She was the idea behind the ring, he was making it for her. Hurrem should feel very pathetic wearing a ring that was being made for another women
Watching this with so much mixed emotions. I am a Christianand definitelyndo not uphold campaigns of killing and desecrating churches or subjecting other people. It is wrong regardless of who does it: Christian, Hindhu or Moslem or Athiest. We need to be decent human beings. We cannot be godly if we hurt others. And after conquering the whole world what peace did he and his family have. The actors have done such a good job in depicting their roles. They really become that person.. Inreally wish we could all live with less greed and more love and definitely more peace.
Here for the 4th time, I just can't get enough of this series, and each time I watch, I see something I somehow missed the previous times. I LOVE Meryem Uzerli, and Halit Ergenc, they both knocked their roles right out of the park!!!!

You have one mistake Sultan Suleyman was born in 1494 not(1499 like you wrote)6th of November.I enjoy watching this,Big men he was,Magnificent Sultan 46years on throne, won many battles,conquer..and also has a heart for a deep and strong love for his Hurrem.Firuze or any women of Savafid never enter in Top Kapi sarayi or that Princess, she was old when Suleyman was Sultan,so Hurrem never had that problems, thst is only for series to be more interesting, only Mahidevran was her "headache" in the start and Ayse Hafsa Sultan was calming them while she was alive, she wasnt enemy to Hurrem, first tiara or crown to Hurrem, was gift from Valide Sultan,Ajse Hafsa Sultan.Suleyman and Hurrem got married in june 1530,austrian ambasador wrote:He put her by him self on the throne like his Queen, the ceremony last 9days..No matter what their love last 40years.from 1534-1558 Hurrem was leading the Harem,I think is the longest of all Sultans, unfortunatlly she never became Valide Sultan. She was from Rogatin,Redhair beauty, strong women, she was not only women concubine to Suleyman but he tooks advices from her,he felt in love on first site, when Ibrahim bought from slavery bazzar in Istanbul and brought in sarayi and many had written that when she entered in Sarayi was like a tornado, she entered in few days in his bedroom and never leave golden path again, born 6children..she was love of Suleyman.I admire her, maybe she done bad things, but remember about their law,she was only protecting her children
Alexandra enchanted the Sultan with her dancing. He already kept thinking about her after she had thrown herself into his arms and fainted. Now he has fallen under her "spell".
Ok if anyone wants to know what that this is worth watching or not then yes. Pls watch it. It is the best I watched it 13 times and this is my 14th times I never get bored of it. Thank god south eastern europe got a peak of the middle eastern culture, best dancing, best music, best clothing in the world in my opinion. I love that culture! And Ottoman Empire brought that to us! We albanians have such great similarities in music and dancing with turkey and middle east, even our traditional songs sound the same.
I saw suleyman eyes tears fall for angry he felt be trayed. excitment turn into heatred.
Nonsense. One means one
Nonsense. One means one. Anyone who can read hebrew knows that clearly. Your bible is a misinterpretation and corruption of the sacred hebrew scriptures
where it all started... getting chills rewatching the scene where suleiman reads the letter that bears the news of the start of his reign while simultaneously thinking of all the deaths that will follow for the very same throne; mustafa, mehmad, beyazid and so many others
someone else does the same as me i repeat about 100 times and watch over and over again never get tired of watching seleyman hurrem ❤️
Ditto 😅
Yo igual ! Es así no te preocupes nos pasa a muchas !!!
I used to watch this series 9 years ago when i was working in Iraq as a house maid but they translated in Arabic but my boss really love it am happy to watch it again in English translate
Bence sessiz kalmayalım bu böyle olmaz biz kendi kanalımızdan izlemek istiyoruz yaa 🥺
It's my 7th time watching this series, every dialogue is memorised, not bored at all ❣️
Me too almost 30times. I love suleyman and hurrem momments

I watch this series every night for the last 5 years😂😂
I’m not alone 😂
When there's nothing good to watch, this series does it for me 😍💕

I love harem intrigues..whether ottoman or imperial china

Suleiman has no clue he's gonna be struck by the electric beauty of Alexandra ❤️ these first few episodes are beautifully packed with so much love and hurt at the same time!
September 1, 2024... who's watch with me???
Finishing on September 10, Starting again on 11😊 For a second time❤So addicted..
Me ...for 100th time
I watch it every year since 2014!
Bir kaç güne buralar türkçe yorumlarla dolar taşar,neden orijinalı kaldırdılar😩
This is a great show and all but can we please look at how great the kids acted considering their young age! A round of applause for them!!!
True❤❤😂😂
Someone metioned that Hurrem was negative. And in 1 episode is explained why she was negative. After murdering of the whole family and being sold like animal, she was treated even worse than animal!! And other sultanas were better than her? No, Valide and Fatma were even worse. And Hurrem mainly protected her lover and kids
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😯😯😯😯😯😯😯😯😟😟😟😟😟🤨🤨🤨whtessssss tes🤨🤨
I'm already repeating this series for like 10 times.❤❤❤❤
Priceless the face of Ibrahim, Daye and Sumbul when Hurrem shouts Sultan Suleiman😆
Espacially sumbul omg his face killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My favorite scene of this episode is the opening scene, it shows you how good the music in this show is and how Ibrahim understands Suleiman without him even saying a word, their friendship is everything.
Yeah, so he kills him later on.
J ai beaucoup aimé kosem sultan et ça aussi mais pensez vous qu’il y en a en anglais ou en français?
I have not watched that show. What is it again?
Can you tel me the connection of this show with Kosem. Yesterday I finished watching Kosem. Now I find this. So I like to know what happens in Turkey after Kosem died. ... and then.

@@WaruniWanasinghekosem Sultana is the granddaughter in law of hurrem and Suleman
Finished it last week and am starting again today. I can never get enough of the show and Meryem's acting.
1:11:30 Suleiman ignored Mahidervan even before he loved Hurrem. Mahidervan was only mother of his son and one of many concubines for him! 😆😆
That's part of way I wish they had kept the rule about the Sultan not sleeping with a concubine after she gives him a son. It's a big part of how much Suleiman loves Hurrem that this was the first rule he broke for her.
1:11:08 what is the music's name
Rewatching this series again. Feels so good to see all the characters ❤️
Can rewatch this a hundred times...my guilty pleasure!
I too ... ❤️
I too
Me also
3rd time😁
56:57 when Suleiman was making the ring he thought of Hurrem and knew it was for her only! ❤️🔥
But he started making the ring in thoughts of Mahidevran. She was the idea behind the ring, he was making it for her. Hurrem should feel very pathetic wearing a ring that was being made for another women
@@vyastrebova3447if he loved her he wouldn’t have given the ring to someone else
I am on episode 1 and thought the same thing...
I love this show! It is like seeing poetry being lived out on screen! Thank you for sharing this work of art with the world!
Poetry?
My blood boiled seeing those women being forced into slavery for the sultan

I have discovered this show here on TH-cam and I'm liking it so far. Greetings from the Philippines.
Okay so what do you think???
Mee watching 300th time again in 2024 😊
Me too 😁🤣🤣
Imagine if Pargali knew that by choosing Hurrem to dance he was signing his & poor Mustapha's death warrant.

Such a love story that transcends time itself. All women watching this drama has put themselves in Hurrams position, and fantasize of their own Muhbbi.❤

I have seen this series fully every time I enter a new stage in my life.

If I have nothing worth to watch, I tendency switched to TH-cam channel watching this series again, which is worth of watching repeatedly, good series
After watching it for umpteenth time i realized. Other ladies simply bonded over their jealousy for Hürrem. The way Mahidevran treats Gülfem on their first meeting. They are all jealous that Hürrem did what none of them could.
I’ve been watching this 5th time I can’t stop watching this it’s the best series n hurrem is one of my favourite in this series ❤️
I watched all of the Magnificent Century episodes and all of the Kosem Sultana episodes. Now I'm rewatching Magnificent Century because I can't have enough. I love this so much! ❤️❤️
Im here once again,,, for Hurrem Sultana,, 💕
1:15:33 It’s so obvious Alexandra is targeting to attract Sultan Sulyeman 😁. Everyone is but she has extras.
Alex looks so beautiful in this Episode especially while dancing.
All the concubines were taught to focus only on the Sultan... don't think it was just Alex
A very addictive series.
I have loved this show for years but every time I get to Season 4 I never finish the show. I keep going back to the beginning and I just can’t get enough of the show
My third time repeating the movie
Thank god south eastern europe got a peak of the middle eastern culture, best dancing, best music, best clothing in the world in my opinion. I love that culture! And Ottoman Empire brought that to us! We albanians have such great similarities in music and dancing with turkey and middle east, even our traditional songs sound the same. When I first started hearing turkish songs I thought they were albanian songs I couldn't believe it. Greetings from Albania 🇦🇱 Love you all and hope the best for middle eastern countries inshallah!
