Mahidevran is actually bad for everyone. She just uses everyone for her benefit. Didn't even spared Mustafa. Yes, Hurrem was right. Mustafa's only misfortune was his mother is Mahidevran

Imagine how much further they'd have ruled if those women would have worked together instead of against each other! But in those times it was everyone for themselves and their heirs!
Had Mahidevran didn't allow jealousy and hatred to consume her and acted more like Gulfem her life and Mustafas life would've turned out differently I believe. She was the favourite but acted like little girl who didn't get her way. She pushed Suleiman into Hurrems arms with her behaviour. In fact they all did with their plots to get rid of her.
After watching the series four times it was definitely Marihdevran that caused all the trouble from beginning to end. Every time I watch it I notice something different
No. If it wasnt to be like this the traditions (suleiman to have many wives snd many children like they were meant to die when he dies except the older one) then she wouldnt feel like that or do these things she did.Bad things but dhe was pushed by jealousy of the traditions.
If Suliman had executed Mahidevran, I honestly believe that everything would have resolved itself. Hurrem would have no reason to go after Mustafa, Valide would have eventually warmed up to her, she and Hatice would have been friends/sisters. Most of the conflicts stemmed from Mahidevran’s hatred of Hurrem.
That is, if Hurrem could have groomed Mustafa as her own. Maybe Valide or Ibrahim would have gotten in the way of that, but yeah, there would have been peace if no one got to use Mustafa against her. She could have loved him too as a child…
It's not easy like u think if she didn't killed Mustafa then she will never ruled n her dream of making her children ruled n protected them won't happen as the eldest son will became king after sulieman death n have to killed all lil bro to protect his throne ! Dis is the law of that period so she have to killed sultans first child which is not urs
That's ridiculous. Why would she deserve death? In reality hurrem was the nasty one, made up a story about Mahidevran beating her up (which wasn't even true according to historians) only to turn Suleiman against her. Mahidevran was widely described as much more beautiful.
so true, I loved Nigar Kalfa's intelligence and rationality mixed with kindness, and I think they completely ruined her character with the Ibrahim plotline

Some things never change. A couple can be falling apart, doing horrible things and traumatizing everyone around them, but they'd still rather 'keep the family together' even though they'd have been better off divorced years ago.
That was a big mistake from Suleiyman part. Even if he is the Sultan, there's laws and Palace rules he must abide to, no matter what. You become a Sultana after giving birth to a boy. By doing so, he made Hurrem more arrogant and disrespectful. Because she had Suleiyman behind her, she thought she was above everyone else. Even above Valide Sultana. That's pure arrogance, but in the end, she was never accepted as one of the Ottoman Dynasty. She could never be one of them anyway because she wasn't born into it. Even if Suleiyman made her a free woman, she was still a slave because by their laws and Palace rules, a free woman cannot live in the Palace. And that's the Shairas laws
Ibrahim from the get go wanted Suleman’s son to be Sultan so he could control him and rule thru him. That is why he protected Mahidevran. Poor Suleman was surrounded by snakes.
Ibrahim: "Your conscience will not let u do that." Now I know why Ibrahim will lose at the end, because he think that Suleiman will be sustained by consciene. But Suleiman already told him here, no one should try his consciene. Yet Ibrahim expression be like "nah", so thats why he still act ignorant, until Suleiman cant let him anymore.
What Suleiman feared was that his son, Mustafa, was popular and the people loved him. He was scared that Mustafa would dethrone him. Hürrem was a big player for Suleiman to reach such a conclusion. But he loved his son when he was young. Because he was taught to think as an Ottoman sultan.
These scenes where Ibrahim is alone in a room with one of the concubines, with any woman from the harem and with Mahidevran seem unrealistic because it was simply not possible in the 16th century in the Sultan's court.
yes it is true but most of the time when mahidevran came to see ibrahim alone she made sure sultan did not know cuz in one scene she came to meet him and suleiman came to talk to ibrahim and mahidevran hid.

If Hürrem is the one that poisoned Mahidevran and Mustafa then Hürrem will be punished even if she is the mother of 4 princes and 1 princess But Mahidevran poisoned her and the unborn baby but she wasn't punished not even get a scolding just because she is Mustafa's mother!! Suleyman why are you so unfair??!!
Regardless. Mahidervan & Ibrahim should have been punished. I cannot for the life of me, understand how they got away with a lot they did to Hurrem. No wonder she fought back with a vengeance. They couldn't defeat her. But Sulieman walked all over her. And because of her strong true love & loyalty, she took it all. I guess being Padisha makes it ok. What a shame 😢
1:29:00 Ibrahim from beginning had the idea that Mustafa should ascend the throne after suleiman and implanted same idea to Mahidevran which she strongly believed and used the same words towards Hurrem saying that she will kill all her children when Mustafa ascends the throne which made Hurrem to go after Mustafa.
1:27:22 Acting like she hasn’t tried to kill Hurrem several times; and it’s funny how they all seem to be nonchalant about the “member of the dynasty” lying in Hurrem’s stomach. I thought members of the dynasty were important, though apparently not if they’re from Hurrem.
Noone with more than two neurons would've tried to poison Hurrem for the love of the Sultan knowing that the Sultan might eat it to. Plus, even if they knew she would be the one to eat it it would be better in her room alone than at the Sultans who is for sure going to do everything possible to save her. This is bad writing
Esto es absurdo . Cómo una concubina por más que ya tenia un hijo puede envenenar la comida del Sultán y quedarse tan campante en el Palacio sin ser castigada ???? Ridículo
@@FromJessyWithLove I have a bf who doesn’t like sweets, but if he sees me enjoying a dessert and i offer him a bite he eats it most times. You can totally apply that in this situation. Just because he normally won’t eat something alone you really think that if Hurrem, the Great Love of his life and mother of his 6 children(one at the moment but semantics) , asked him to taste a bite that he’d deny her something so small? Mahi is petty, impulsive and rarely thinks about the consequences for her hasty actions.
If you think about it properly Suliman may had been the Sultan and the most powerful man, but if you had to admit, he knew the least out of them all. I bet he didn't even knew ⅓ of all the affairs and intrigues that take place right under his roof 😂😂😂

Obviously Madhievren was deeply in love with Suleyman and his rejection ate her alive picking at the one thing that took him out of love with her Hurrem This turned her into a hateful and desperate bitter soul
Ugly and most criminal mahidevran how can be queen of great Suleman? Mahidevran was the root of all evils. Pargali is betraying with sultan. Nigar and gulfam are fine. Sumbula is great actor. Who and where is fatma sultan?
A woman like Mahidevran is always a loser in her life. Her evil mind can't bring any positivity in her n her child's life. Women now a day in every house has same way of life n thinking that's why we can observe n see negativity in our surroundings
She thought when she comes to the palace she was going to be queen bee she was only sleeping with a prince and 1stolen night that Suleiman didn't want so there Hurrem got blamed stupid fool that's why she dies miserable
You really can't blame Hurrem. Mahidevran picked and picked at her till she finally got fed up and started treating her the same way. Mahidevran was a spoiled brat most of her life. And apparently thought she was better than anyone.
She was just a teenager. All her behavior was of a teenager. Not adult. The Sultan couldn't punish Mahi. He knew Mustafa needed her. Yet she never got punished for all her evil ways. She was too focused on killing Hurrem. She didn't think the Sultan would be there to eat it, too. She threw Gulsha under the bus. 😄Like my Mom once told me. Jealousy poisons the mind. Like the part when Suleyman doest look mad at Ibrahim until he took his arm. 😄 Its no wonder with Ibrahim yelling the Sultan can hear him next door. I hate that Ibrahim physically abuses Nigar. I thought he was nice. 😠
I do not understand why they would be paying the actress who plays Hürrem leess than the sultan. She has far more to do, especially in the last two episodes and not only, even than he does ,; certainly on an equal level and necessary to the story...Apparently that's why they fired her, because -- correctly --she demanded fair wages.
Firstly not true that they fired her she left without telling anyone when the series was going on. So, she left everyone in a very difficult position. She left because she was exhausted from working, had a trash boyfriend, and was pregnant and he didn't want the baby. All 3 things got too much for her, and without telling anyone, she just left. Halit, the actor playing suleiman is a big name. Of course, to convince him, he would get the most money. Meryem the actress playing hurrem was an unknown name. When she signed, of course, her money wouldn't be the same as Halit. Is like me asking the same money as brad pitt earns because I work the same amount or more than him acting.
I am sorry but I have watched so many historical movies and I have never seen a new concubine speak so rudely to a first concubine or even the mother of the 1st prince. From Episode 1, Hurrem has been absolutely disrespectful and uncouth. I am yet to find what is intriguing about her. Lastly, Mahidevran doesn't not have sense. She doesn't know how to fight, strategize, and plan to win her man. All she did was cry, whine and complain.
try and picture an immature 15 yr old navigating the harem in 1530's one, two the show is about HER and three if she is disrespectful its because they made her that way and this is a drama not accurate history. not all historical shows are 100% accurate.
Mahidirvan is a pain. She should have known what she was getting into in the first place. Now all she does is ruin her own chances while whining about hurram
If I'm Sumbul/ Nigar, i think i will heat boiling got strokes and high blood pressure to deal with Hurrem's attitude, everyday wonder what will happen and worry about. But based on her age, the background story at that time, it's understandable. Back to now 21st century, me myself really can't handle lady like this.
If Mahidevran had tried to poison Hurrem 20 or 30 years later, where Suleiman showed no mercy, she would have been executed immediately. He would not even have the slightest doubt.
While Hurrem tries to protect everyone who's loyal to her, Mahidevran turns her back just to clean her sins.
Imagine hurrem and pagali had become friends instead of enemies, the trio would have been so powerful
so they were, in reality :))

If Hürrem is the one that poisoned Mahidevran and Mustafa then Hürrem will be punished even if she is the mother of 4 princes and 1 princess
But Mahidevran poisoned her and the unborn baby but she wasn't punished not even get a scolding just because she is Mustafa's mother!! Suleyman why are you so unfair??!!
⚠️ Spoiler Alert ⚠️ Don’t worry Suleyman will execute Mustafa in the next.
Ibrahim is the worst. He ranted out his anger caused by suleiman on nigar kalfa who is completely innocent whereas did nothing to mahidevran.
58:04 i can't believe Nigar Kalfa fell in love with Ibrahim after what he did to her
True that
I bought a Turkish food cookbook!💕🤣
😂waow u rock🎉
@@OlalekanBlessing-ch7qq 🥰😝
If you ever in your lifetime find love like that you’re lucky
57:07 this part is the best part! when Süleyman said “You are my Sultan, Hurrem Sultan” AHHHH!!❤❤❤
the soldier impaled on the spear in the background during the 300 knockoff battle scene was pure bogus.
It all looked bogus to me lol
Noone with more than two neurons would've tried to poison Hurrem for the love of the Sultan knowing that the Sultan might eat it to. Plus, even if they knew she would be the one to eat it it would be better in her room alone than at the Sultans who is for sure going to do everything possible to save her. This is bad writing
Esto es absurdo . Cómo una concubina por más que ya tenia un hijo puede envenenar la comida del Sultán y quedarse tan campante en el Palacio sin ser castigada ???? Ridículo
That's why she poisend the sweets/dessert...everyone in the palace knew that the Sultan wasn't into sweet stuff and ignored desserts....
Ayse hatun 🥰 she is very beautiful and quite elegant
If you think about it properly Suliman may had been the Sultan and the most powerful man, but if you had to admit, he knew the least out of them all. I bet he didn't even knew ⅓ of all the affairs and intrigues that take place right under his roof 😂😂😂
I think he knows; he has spies. He’s wise, he just doesn’t act all the time.
These people dont knock before entering rooms...waooo..they just bashe in and out as they want to.
Cian Mahidevran 💔karena sifatnya yg emosional ...diracun,diculik justru smakin naik derajat Hurrem, tambah cerdik 👍
Team hurrem till the very end. mahidveran always lets her emotions take over and hides behind ibrahim or valide because shes hella envious of hurrem.
This is 1 of the best movies I’ve seen in a long long time!! I’ve watched it twice already and seeing it again it is soooo juicy deliciously beautiful. I am hooked to this movie
Ibrahim - She was poisoned. Do you think it was something she ate? Bahahahahahahah
Obviously Madhievren was deeply in love with Suleyman and his rejection ate her alive picking at the one thing that took him out of love with her Hurrem
This turned her into a hateful and desperate bitter soul
Ugly and most criminal mahidevran how can be queen of great Suleman? Mahidevran was the root of all evils. Pargali is betraying with sultan. Nigar and gulfam are fine. Sumbula is great actor. Who and where is fatma sultan?
A woman like Mahidevran is always a loser in her life. Her evil mind can't bring any positivity in her n her child's life. Women now a day in every house has same way of life n thinking that's why we can observe n see negativity in our surroundings
Yes because Hurrem would have drawn close to little Mustafa and felt safe for her kids.
She thought when she comes to the palace she was going to be queen bee she was only sleeping with a prince and 1stolen night that Suleiman didn't want so there Hurrem got blamed stupid fool that's why she dies miserable
1:29:46 Hurrem and Suleyiman! ❤️❤️❤️
Maria really cared about Hurrem..
You really can't blame Hurrem. Mahidevran picked and picked at her till she finally got fed up and started treating her the same way. Mahidevran was a spoiled brat most of her life. And apparently thought she was better than anyone.
Mahidevran is like the evil Queen!
Mahidrevan had no choice??? Are you kidding me??? She’s a witch!!!
36:07 the happiness of love at Suleyman🙂
1:29:47 Hurrem and Suleiman! 😆❤️🔥
All Mahidevran does is cry. 🙄
Thank you for sharing this wonderful movie 🎬 second viewing..fabulous story line and magnificent actors.😊
Notice how Mahidevron and Gulsah always curse Hurrem in the name of Allah and wish evil on her?
Hurram’s laugh is so cute
Wow I love this film its just soo bad, nice, good, interesting love it
What dessert Hurrem ate, looks so good🤪
Baked quince with freshcream and pomagranite pips on it is lushyes
what is it called?
its called Kaymakli ayva tatlisi
I love the romance between Ibrahim and Hatice. It's so sweet
Mahidevran lost Suleiman's love. She knows it is the end of a higher power, for Haseki sultana. Hurrem # 1.
Rewatching for Nigar Kalfa
En este capítulo comienza Ibrahim a traicionar al Sultán !!! Su primera traición !
This is evil in the worst way, who could have loved or cared for someone this evil mahidevran is mentle. This part could have been left out.
Mahidirvan is a pain. She should have known what she was getting into in the first place. Now all she does is ruin her own chances while whining about hurram
Mahidevil again attacks hurrem sultana
Нигер, умна, старается, помочь
Хюррем. Хюррем, молодая немножко, бессрасудная.,. Нигер, молодец 🌹🌹🌹
hurrem in white is just another level🎉🎉🎉
If I'm Sumbul/ Nigar, i think i will heat boiling got strokes and high blood pressure to deal with Hurrem's attitude, everyday wonder what will happen and worry about. But based on her age, the background story at that time, it's understandable. Back to now 21st century, me myself really can't handle lady like this.
I think this series somewhat modified Additional stories are put up too..
Totally, lots of drama added! Many fictional characters, all those betrayals didn't really happen
Only the major characters and major plot points are real. The rest is fictional.
Great video.
I'm your fan.
I would not like to be a cucombine,,they used them how they wanted, its a dead or alive game.
If Mahidevran had tried to poison Hurrem 20 or 30 years later, where Suleiman showed no mercy, she would have been executed immediately. He would not even have the slightest doubt.
now valide must know if hurrem had been sent off, than sulleman would/could have done.
Gulshah is a beauty, kind from nature. But her slave's life spoiled her. Mahidevran presses her human's feelings.
