- In this Journal Club, Dr. Randi Williams, Assistant Professor of the Cancer Prevention & Control Program in the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Georgetown University Medical Center presented the following publication for discussion:

Dr. Williams provided a 15-20 minute synopsis of the publication. Two respondents from different disciplines then provided their perspectives for 5-10 minutes. Dr. Ellen Yeung (GW) responded to this article from a Social and Behavioral Sciences perspective and Dr. Taisuke Izumi (AU) responded to this article from a Basic Sciences perspective. An open discussion followed the presentations to hopefully discover opportunities for possible collaborations across disciplines on future research initiatives.
