    I will make this this week, but I am making it with walleye that my husband brought back from Canada. I will be using our own maple syrup that we made this spring from our own tapped trees. Can't wait.

    You can broil the salmon skin on both sides until crispy in your broiler on top of aluminum foil.
    It tastes like delicious bacon. They have salmon skin hand roll sushi too. Delicious.
    Great recipe. Thanks!

    Salmon cooked on a cedar plank outside over a real fire is a excellent too. I highly recommend that you give it a shot if you haven’t done it before.
    Also, what’s that thing on the bottom edge of your shirt in the thumbnail photo? It looks like a spoon. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔 If so, it’s too far to the center to be in your pocket. It must be shoved down the front of your jeans. Is this a new social media chef trend that nobody told me about?

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That sounds delicious!
      And it is a spoon, it's the spoon that's in the pan in front of me, if you watch the last few seconds of the video you will see it, it is certainly not shoved down my jeans, I am not that current on social media trends! 🤣🤣🤣

    I just finished cleaning up after dinner. Yeah, it was good. I know you are not surprised. I couldn't feel any heat from the jalapenos, but perhaps my 2 tablespoons was way different than yours. I got to admit I was saddened to not see grams of measurements for those chopped up things, there is no way to accurately measure tablespoons in chopped garlic or anything else really that is chopped.

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The seeds from the jalapenos really give them the heat, that being said, some are going to be a bit spicier than others. I'm sorry I didn't add the grams for the tablespoons of chopped up garlic. :(

    • @Javaman92
      @Javaman92 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SugarSpunRun I actually went, "aww" when I read this. I still think that you're THE kitchen goddess even if you didn't have the weight of chopped up stuff that time 😁
      Of course you're right, there's lots of variations in things like the heat of peppers.
