FEURICH in Vienna just created an affordable electric piano with a great sound and feel, perfect as a first piano.
DEMO: Bach Prelude and Fugue No.5 WTC bk. 1 played with the two OLYA sampled harpsichord effects. (Clavcin 1 & 2)

How does this OLYA compare to a Kawai ES8?
I couldn't say about this particular comparison, all I know this FEURICH OLYA is best budget piano I've ever played. It's around 700$ give or take. I can''t get my head around how this price is even possible. I have a keyboard by a very well known brand that was twice as expensive but in reality, is almost unplayable by comparison if you're used to playing acoustic pianos. FEURICH gave this piano to our daughter Emilie and she loves all the different sounds it can produce which she puts into her animations.
@@PaulBartonPiano That's exactly how I feel about my ES8, best digital piano I've ever played, wonder how the OLYA compares for half the price, hope I can try it someday
@@monsieurbrochant7528You have to cut corners to price something in "less than $800" range. It is that or kawai, yamaha, casio were overpricing their instruments for years or Feurich are losing money intentionally.
The most expensive parts in a digital are build quality, materials and key-action. Longevity is also influenced by price.
For example CASIO pianos have screws that screw directly into plastic which makes the build cheaper and makes repair hard.
M-Audio, 88keys midi controller with hammer action is more expensive than this piano.
@@monsieurbrochant7528 me too - if you get the opportunity to play the OLYA, please came back here and tell us what you think.
Lovely! A few months ago I learned to play the fugue, and it's so joyous to play it with the harpsichord function. Great to hear it you play
Absolutely Beautiful, Loved This, Such A Wonderful Sound. Thank You So Much ❤🎹❤️
THAT is an amazing sound. When I first started listening to classical music I was nuts for the harpsichord.😄🎶
Comme c'est original 🎶J'ai apprécié 🎶 Merci Paul 🎶
Bravo!
Très beau , merci
You are a total master Paul
Mon super héros "Bachman" est revenu!
amazing sound!
Hello Paul been watching your videos for over 4yrs now and can’t get enough of your playing. You have a feel no else does when you play. Was wondering if you would play a Star Wars piece called Anakin’s Theme by John Williams?
I’ve looked for people on you tube playing it on piano and there is so few. So thought I’d ask you….
Beautiful playing as always Paul. Our of curiosity, do you have a favorite P+F pair from the WTC? I'm partial to the Cm from both books, along with E major and F#m from book 2. Cheers!
I remember Paul saying he liked the E minor from book 1 (BWV 855) the most.
Hi @Solfonny those indeed are great works and ,,, @cole7796 - yes, it's incredible you remember that little detail :) wow! Yes, possibly Prelude and Fugue No.10 (legato) th-cam.com/video/KWLm3LwhrYs/w-d-xo.html
Very nice you should do a video of a tutorial of the tempest sonata by Beethoven please.
Beautiful performance! Subscribed to your channel for a long time and follow your work.Name the model of your instrument, is it Casio or Yamaha?
❤❤❤❤❤
very baroque🍷🎉✨
How do you besides play so well .. how do you write it down
Hi @DanielNorcross, sorry, I don't quite understand ...
How is the weight? Most of the time I'm dissatisfied with digital pianos that feel much lighter than acoustic pianos
Hi @trevorguy63 -- I know what you mean. There's sometimes a surprise for pianists when they encounter the touch-weight an e-piano compared to an acoustic upright. Then there's another shock for the fingers between an acoustic upright and a concert grand piano. Gravity effects everything.
hmmmmmmmmm ... i prefer the Kawai ES 100 / 110 etc
A interpretação do Paul Barton é muito boa!
Mas o teclado ou piano eletrônico em que ele toca está bem longe de parecer com o cravo!
Lembra muito pouco ou quase nada!
