I noticed that you’re not fully using the track, especially in certain corners where you tend to position yourself more toward the center before turning in. For example, at 0:46, 0:58, 1:07, 1:15, and 1:30 (just in the GP section alone), you could gain significant time by improving your car's positioning. It’s especially noticeable at 6:00, you should be on the opposite side of the track to set up for the turn more effectively.
At 1:55, for instance, if you stay all the way to the left and turn just as you are next to the board, you can take that corner flat out or with a slight lift instead of braking. The same applies to 2:32, 2:50, 3:29, and even 5:19. In these cases, just lifting off the throttle a bit or completely instead of braking can make a big difference on the lap time.
From 7:10 to 7:20, you can actually take that section flat out, which would help you maintain a lot more speed through there.
Practice on how to optimize your car's positioning before and during corner entry. This alone can shave several seconds off your lap time. It might also be helpful to watch a few lap guides to see how others approach these corners. And as a general rule, try braking a bit earlier than what they are showing.
When it comes to the Nordschleife, the biggest factor is practice. In many sections, you won’t have time to think while you're already in the corner, you need to know in advance what to do and be prepared before you even get there.
    Happy simracing!

Thanks for the great pointers, yeh, i haven't done enough track time on it yet, and just keep building up slowly, watching reruns etc to see where the car was vs where it should be etc. I still need to break some bad habits like unnecessary downshifting etc when braking etc.
Thanks for taking the time to post some great formative feedback!
