Very nice, my friend. I remember my old Falcon restoration, replacing the broken trail arms :-) I like that it is a better fit too. Again, I remember a dogbone come flying through the living room when I tested it :-)
On a side note ... do you have a WT-01/WR-01 (WIld Dagger, Blackfoot III etc etc.) ? Looking for a solution to the servo mount. I can find a printed part, but it requires modification to the chassis, which I am not very fond of.
I have never been a Falcon fan but being a Tamiya Nut and sence its what I consider a FX10 platform due to its gearbox and I am Fx10 crazy I can wait to order all these parts Friday! Now what color to get or colors???
Hello, what is your advice about 3Print material for those rear amrs, for the best shock resistance? I've already brocken 2 parts, made with Tough2000 Resin on a SLA Printer. Maybe better results on a FDM printer with ABS? Thanks for saving our vintage Falcon, great job !
That tough resin is a good choice since it is strong and will look good. FDM would work too in ABS and cost less but I would still go Resin since it will look better.
Hi Thank you for this video I'm interested to get a falcon and I want to put a TAMIYA engine inside (technipower or techituned or technigold) At a moment you said that you have a trinity midnight inside, but do you know how much torque and rpm this motor does? I've seen that it is 27turns so it is the same as the technituned In the 80's promo they said it can be upgraded with technigold motor What do you think?
Sorry man, no idea what that old trinity could do. It is definitely better than the stock one. Note that some old Tamiya motors have unique brushes that are very expensive. If you want to run it a lot, get something easy to get parts for.
From someone with an old FX10 the old HPI wheel adaptors for their universal wheels will allow the use of modern 12MM hex wheels or you could just do your own 😂
@@AMPROEngineering That explains it. Also in your video with the battery hold down, you show a part number of a piece 056005-01. I purchased the hold down sometime ago but my falcon has a clip that holds that side in place. I could not find this part on shapeways.
@@AMPROEngineering i wont ask, but I'm looking forward to what you end up choosing for colours and whatnot! So far I find your design choices to be pretty great in the end!
Saving the Tamiya world, step by step!
Or part by part, haha!
You, sir are breathing new life into these legendary cars. Bless you.
Haha, thanks!

Looking forward seeing that body :-)

I seriously have replied to this 3 times and keeps not working! Send some pix! Amproengineering@gmail.com
Ok my friend, this is awesome! Those poor old falcons need help. And it’s here!!
Yes they do!
Looks great. Surely that won’t break now!!!!!!
For once, haha!
That's some good stuff man!!
thanks man!
Fingers crossed Tamiya re-re this car, love it.
I wonder if they will...who knows what Tamiya is thinking....
Thanks ,now I need a falcon!
Oh dear, haha!
Very nice bro! The Falcon needs a bunch of hop ups..You have come up with some really good ones!
Thanks man. It just needs to be able to run without falling apart for once.
@@AMPROEngineering I raced a falcon for two seasons when I was a kid..The ABS was not great but when it was brand new it lasted much longer lol
great job! love the slow motion parts!
Who doesn't love slow motion.
I love your products….thoughts on adjustable camber type arms on the front of a falcon?
Well thank you! I have started making adjustable upper links on a few other cars and this would benefit from it. I will get to this soon!

Nor I my friend. This was totally done out of spite, haha!
How close are you to making those parts for the king Blackfoot RC truck please let me know thank you very much
Very close.
How many turns is the Trinity midnight motor
I love the black AMPRO lettering
Hmmm....I think it is a 24 turn, 28deg stocker. Thanks!
Good stuff man!
Thanks!
@@AMPROEngineering Your welcome man. Always puting out great stuff!

The car is (still) not indestructible but at least Ampro parts are aviable 😂
That's a good way of looking at it, haha
Awesome Sauce.....😁👍
Thanks!

Oh i forgot to show those! I have hex's also that I made.
Looking for these on Shapeways and not finding them. I even searched the part number in your video and it comes up empty.
I havent made them available yet. I was at the track yesterday testing more. They will be up shortly!

@@christopherpilla9396 Hmmmm. maybe the part on my falcon was wrong? It was pretty beat up when I got it so maybe a previous owner swapped it?
How's the Frog front suspension coming along?
Done and awesome. Posted vids and pix on FB and Instagram and the video will be done soon.
Are those hub adapters compatible with Super Hornet/Grasshopper II wheels?
I am drawing a blank at the moment but I think so. They are too short for a Hornet trans but the wheels are the same.
Where is the new bandit video
It's in line!
car looks sweet... riiiiight up until that lexan body gets placed on it
I know that shell is awful. I have a new one from TBG to paint.
