I run my LunchBox at my elementary school playground/parc. Theres 2 baseball fields and tons of cool obstacles to jump off. At the end of the evening, I just sit and watch the sun set. Great brake from the family craze :) Thanks for sharing your childhood memories!

Following the car low to the ground from behind reminds my of an old N64 game Re-Volt! Loved that game!!

I'm at a loss right now. I had 5200 parts there optimized for SLS., MJF and Polyjet prints. Without them, almost nothing I have can be translated into FDM. Glad you liked the video!

Thanks for the cool trip down your, quite literal, memory lane! It is funny how some things change and other stay almost exactly the same over the years! BTW I heard about the mess about Shapeways and sorry about that. I knew you used them pretty much exclusively and I hope you are able to pivot to other places without a ton of trouble. Best of luck, I know it has to be a big PITA!
Im glad you liked it. I was happy I got to go in the school! The loss of shapeways is a disaster for AMPro. All profits there went right back into the company and without them, we are in trouble.
@@AMPROEngineering I am very sorry to hear that. I really hope you can find another vendor to use for this. I know selling the files is a terrible way of doing it as the get reshared and distributed elsewhere so fast it is almost pointless. I really hope you guys can find another platform to use. Wishing you guys all the best! Wish there was more I could do.
Thumb made that look sick! I rented one of those one trip to England. I slept in it one night. It was a 5 door.
I love the 5 door. I had a Contour SVT (that was based on the 2nd gen) for a while but it was the EU mondeo I always loved, thanks to this car.
As you probably know shapeways is no more. Is there a company with similar services where you intend to upload your designs?

Yes indeed. I am currently working on a couple of alternatives but they had great prices and were very easy to use. I had over 5000 parts in my store so its going to be a nightmare to get this going again.

It is to bad the bt01 and the mb01 have a lot of problems the concept of them are cool.
Unfortunately I do not know anything about those chassis. I do have an MF01x and I am NOT impressed.

Where have you been (youtube wise)! How do you film the close following of the car? Another car with camera or on foot with a stick or something?
Working on a home addition and now dealing with fallout from shapeways closing.... I used a long selfie stick. It works well (would work better with some more practice lol)

Hey Ampro- since Shapeways appears to have gone bad, is there going to be another way to get your products?
right now only MyMiniFactory. There is no company like shapeways. There is a link to MMF in the description but this is only for home prints. We are working on a solution. So sorry about this.

What rims and tires are in that
These are some cheap standard touring car tires with AMPro wheels that have a fake side wall. They are on the AMPro MyMiniFactory store to be downloaded (link in description).
Will the news about Shapeways affect you?
Yes. I had 5200 RC Car parts in my store. All profits from sales went right back into AMPro development. Now there will be zero sales and no way, at the moment, to get people the parts in the materials they were designed for.
Do you still own the ford pintos?
3 Pinto's, one Pangra and one Bobcat though the bobcat is up for sale.

Very nice. I still go and run my RCs at a huge park where I live. The park has been there since the 1950s. Hey, You hear Shapeways is going out of business? I bought a Lot of your designs through them. I have no idea what I am going to do now. I have a Sand Scorcher I want to finish with your door panels and dash parts.
Yeah this has been here a while too! I was alerted the morning it happened. I was one of the first shops and had 5200 parts there....no idea what will happen now.
