I hope the next evolution of rc programming is a software the end user can use to program it themselves, and downloadable effects and settings combos are a thing.
One thing that I’d love to do but won’t be able to for a long time is design and print replacement superstructures. Fanciful but scale things in mind. Also replacement rear bed covers like the welded steel ones IRL and I have some fanciful roofs in mind as well. Fanciful armored vehicles of all classes for instance. Maybe with moving parts that require extra channels. I saw some concept art on ArtStation recently that seemed to answer the question what if Star Wars was aesthetically more realistic by blending original SW designs and real world. Vlad Mojaev is the artist I think. Got me thinking more in that direction. I’m worried about how much weight it can haul around regularly before it breaks tho.
The only concern about weight is the plastic road arms….and the non suspension last wheel other that that the stock motors and trans does excellent. Our’s is 2.5 lbs and it does just fine maybe 4lbs max it could handle…..
@@That_RC_Channel kinda makes me wish for metal upgrades for all the moving parts by the sound of it. And whatever else. But maybe this will hold up idk. Everything I want to do it it wouldn’t weigh as much as 4lbs. The thing I care about in anything I buy is durability which translates to low maintenance and longevity. That’s what’s kept me from buying the other WPL models tho if 1/64 diecast is your thing, their two axle offerings are pretty great. The rear suspension on the three axle ones have a problem with the leafs popping out but I think that might be (crudely) fixable.
Thank you. Love the video. I purchased mine but would like to know how to connect the motors to my own receiver? Do u have a diagram I could follow? I want to use my own transmitter so I can install my lights. Thank u. And heep up the great work
Hello and thanks for checking our video out. What type of esc and receiver will you be using. The only thing stock on this one is the motors and gear box. Most of your esc receiver combo will come with pin out instructions
I bought this esc (kyrc, from aliexpress) 40A brushed esc that works well with my other 3 wpl models but the principle is different due to it be a tank. and a 6ch dumborc receiver. if u can recommend an esc that works with my e1. I just have done the switch from petrol 1/5th scale to 1/18th scale and electric is new to me. thank u in advance
Maybe the smoke effects are more realistic when the vehicle is outside and the smoke dissipates more quickly, otherwise it looks like a cold start at -40C.
@@vanmiguelpanem4009 smoke fluid can be baby oil or mineral oil but it will stink and smoke the house up if playing inside.....we found the Lionel Train smoke with sent works very well and does not smell terrible
did the smoke generator circuit board come with the smoke generator kit?
Yes it does
cant wait to get mine, plus the extras to improve it. Just a hoobiest at heart but have to say... I would realy like a full size one...
It’s a fun little rc and definitely would be cool to own one or at least have it a weekend lol

So the speaker box has a program and that where we mixed the sound and throttle response. The remote is where we set up the delay is accelerating

Hello! Why does the car walk forward by itself when idling after adding a sound group and a smoke group
You will have to adjust the trim setting
@@That_RC_Channel I had tried to trim setting , epa , DR , but still forward !!!!🤔🤔
@@wasabipet67 mmmm what controller and ESC

We actually changed it...it now has metal muffler pipes lol smoke is toned down
I really like everything, but man that smoke is a bit much haha
Haha Thanks yea it will clear a room out we have since installed a custom metal exhaust comes out the rear and functions like the real one!
where do you have the smoke and sound connected to?
It’s all new electronics inside not stock

Bro i want to ask can we make halftrack using e1 tracked body and b16 head ?
You would just need a way to control the tracks either with an aftermarket board like we did of try to use the WPL one it might work
Tamiya has a motorized track a guy made that and a b16 together on TH-cam its pretty cool
Never mind my questions on the other video
