I think Beast Gohan 'might' be the most expressive character in the game. His pupils dilate, his hair waves around when charging his SBC, and of course his iconic smirk in his idle.

That Special Beam Cannon line is something else... Also, the animation, the split impact frame before he lets it fly. It's beautiful, and well worth the wait.
I love how his stats are just entirely damage ,and then he gets a supersoul that buffs it even more!

I was worth the wait but I heard in one comment that the dlc was an L just because one of the piccolo's do not have fucking light grenade it was the most stupid excuse I have ever heard.
@@freshjosh2k21PA piccolo does have light grenade as an ultimate; I know most people are just sad or mad that PA piccolo didn’t have the rock move which yea is a little disappointing but the main attraction was always beast gohan anyways so yk

Homie has a *ton* of variations in his basic attacks as well, this whole character feels like a Xenoverse 3 character was shoved into 2.
Hopefully he's the last one but at the same time if we get more characters like this I also wouldn't be mad.
Xenoverse 3 will definitely rework all the characters and make them feel more refined. Its the only way for the game to rise from its predecessors.

To unlock a move such as that special beam cannon, I know the quest is gonna be difficult. Its gonna be like power rush all over again, and drop rates are gonna be low. IM READY FOR THE CHALLENGE

Beast cannon has the same mechanic as gigantic roar where lower health=more damage so at low health it should be able to one shot anyone 😈

In that part of the light combo where Gohan knocks the opponent up, you could definitely fit in a stamina break there.

Yeah you got everything. But he has some very unique 5 light 2 heavy combo strings. Like his combo after 5 light 2 heavy changes upon the inputs. Its crazy that bandai put that much effort into him.

Something he didn't mention is that Special Beam Cannon when used with the kick, while it does the fully charge animation, only does a little bit more than the unchanged amount. Although, I'd consider this a fair trade-off for not being able to evasive out of it.

If you put your joystick up while using special beam canon beast. it stuns the enemy and charges the move fully
@13:15 when you said the move is an engima, not really it's probably to do with range e.g. super kamehameha does a bit more damage at point blank then at a distance, also while his ss got nutty ki damage landing 5 perfect blocks is a massive yikes imo and probably people will just block spam to get it which means alotta grabs on them

This Gohan is going to be super broken. I’m both terrified and excited. But my main wonder is if CACs will be able to do the Beast Special Beam Canon’s start up kick. Because that’s when things get really broken.

Sorry if I’m behind on the times but what is the super Saiyan god mechanic you mentioned with the timing on Demon Flurry? I’m sure it’d also be nice to know for others who are unaware
If you time your hits right, you gain extra ki from basic combos while in SSG
Its a mechanic where in certain hits you can time them to deal more damage signaled by a sound effect plus a red circle will appear on your character.

So apparently there is an Ult version of Special Beam Cannon where you start off with the beast kick into special beam cannon
So the “Special Beam Cannon (Beast)” functions like Super Galick Gun where it can charge up by holding the input buttons. That definitely does some serious damage.

Demon Flury is similar to that SSG Vegito mod where in his strike skill you had to time your presses to continue the skill

Steedoj… grabs that involve you “slamming the opponent”, the higher you are the more damage they do. The higher you are, the more room you have to “gain speed”
