Hi Lee. Some top tips for you to visit in Perth WA. We lived in Perth for 8 years and now back in Glasgow: South Perth, ferry from The Lucky Shag. Fremantle, ferry from The Lucky Shag (you'll see dolphins and can visit Fremantle markets and prison). East Perth, The Royal Bar, great wee spot for a bite to eat and beer. It's right in a wee cove. Get the free bus from next to Myer. Walk from East Perth over to stadium, largest pub in Australia. WACA cricket ground, in East Perth on the free bus route. C Restaurant, food is amazing. Restaurant at top of building revolves. Views are great. Cottesloe beach, train from near Myer. Hilarys further up the coast, markets and restaurants on the coast. Hope these help. Beautiful city😊
That's a beautiful park you're walking through before and after breakfast. But practically no one around. Well, the entire island contains only 26 million people. I expect city centres to be busy, but outside built up areas not busy at all. Shame about the toast being hard, because I thought it looked really tasty. I buy so-called artisan sourdough bread frequently, but you need to butter it while still warm. The butter, or Clover, softens it somewhat. Were those sausages pork or beef? I wonder when the full English breakfast first came to Australia? Perhaps you could ask a cafe owner.
Giving an insight into Perth, instead of just a name on a map, and I must say, I'm impressed so far. That park is truly amazing. You'd think you were out in the wilds, not so close to the city.
