What an amazing place , what a contrast to over here . We’ll maintained no litter , not looking run down and lovely park sculptures
Ah I was there - i know exactly where he is and Perth is just gorgeous. If I could roll the clock back 20 years I'd emigrate there in a heartbeat. What a stunning City and the rest of WA is amazing too - and so EMPTY. When you live near London everywhere is absolutely crowded, busy and hectic. Western Australia is 11 times the size of the UK with a population of c. 2.5M. It's hard to comprehend the emptiness and I LOVED IT!
I was. A Nurse in Perth for 16 years I wish now I’d of Emigrated there when I was younger & had a Chance I too in a heart beat would of Settled there & when I look back at you flying to Sydney it took 5 hours over Barren Land Australia & 🇦🇺 its Size & people & the chances to buy B properties there I wish I’d stayed in Oz it’s an Experience I will never forget I was reading about the Eastern brown snake So many people took them on as pets & when they were tired of them they dumped them in Perth that’s why there are so many There x At least we have all made Memories of OZ Freo as the ozzies call it Fremantle is an Amazing city & we know Exactly where not to seat when eating Fish & chips not outside!! So many birds fly down & take you’re fish what a beautiful country im enjoying MacMaster down under God Bless everyone x
First, the view, the trees are evergreen, mainly Eucalyptus, so the view isn't better in winter. Second, the most moving feature of Kings Park is that the big trees along the roads are all dedicated to individuals who sacrificed their lives in wars. A beautiful place with deep meaning.
Australia 🇦🇺 didn’t even have to enter any world war . You joined voluntarily lol 😅and then proceeded to lose lives . All of your own doing .
@@knownpleasures what an ignorant comment! History isn’t your strong point.
@@Sydneysider1310
Yeah, they were conscripted. My father was in WW2. Thankfully he came home - or else I wouldn’t be here. He got married in his uniform.
@@knownpleasures you do realise WWII was on Australia's doorstep. Buy by your naive reckoning they didn't have to join the fight in the 2nd world war. That is pathetic! You do know Australia was bombed by the Japanese repeatedly, what you've said is obtuse!
@@knownpleasures I suggest you visit Darwin and then come back to apologise for your idiotic comment.
Gday Lee, welcome to Perth where I live. Been watching your blogs now for ages, I think I have seen them all and really enjoy your sense of humour, personality and content. As I am female and over 70, that's an achievement on your part to get through to me. You got me with your chatter on your Electric Porsche.........you just have me in fits of laughter. So thanks for that.
Just one comment, well educational lesson without prejudice. You mentioned in your Kings Park tour and at the top of the DNA tower that in the Autumn when the leaves have fallen from the trees you would have a better view of Perth. Gum trees are not usually deciduous, pretty much green all year round unlike your beautiful trees in the UK. Enjoy Perth, sorry about the current heatwave..
Everything looks so beautiful and clean and neat.
Enjoy your time down under. Been Australia three times. The sunshine coast and gold coast. Absolutely amazing. The wildlife is beautiful. ❤
We've never been although my Uncle moved there after WW2 from Northern Ireland to Melbourne and became a manager for a small USA camera Company called Kodak. I think he worked for Eastman.
Park in the heart of the city. Love it. Aus is so beautiful. The quality of life is fantastic also.
Get in that brewery Lee.
Kings Park
It’s no longer a brewery. They turned it into apartments.
All looks amazing Lee HP and Lurpak clear blue skies you are one lucky Pom .
Mac thanks for showing the World our great state WA. Love your wk bud. 😊
what a great place and no vandalism in the park
YOU MUST SEE! If your time allows visit Rotnest Island, home to the Quokkers the cutest , friendliest critters you will ever see and I guarantee your viewers will love em
yep, and he should go snorkeling while at the island...
Really nice to hear the birds and wildlife there
Ferry to Freemantle, not a train. The Swan River is a must to do in itself.
Perth looks like a peaceful, beautiful city after a gruelling 17-hour flight fantastic filming Lee
Ha ha ha ha, good one. "In autumn, when the trees don't have leaves." Mate, the leaves don't drop in autumn, it's all evergreen. In fact the leaves are continually dropping year round, slowly.
Yeah, I didn't know, I'll be informing people of that. Thanks. :0)
Hi Lee. Some top tips for you to visit in Perth WA. We lived in Perth for 8 years and now back in Glasgow:
South Perth, ferry from The Lucky Shag.
Fremantle, ferry from The Lucky Shag (you'll see dolphins and can visit Fremantle markets and prison).
East Perth, The Royal Bar, great wee spot for a bite to eat and beer. It's right in a wee cove. Get the free bus from next to Myer.
Walk from East Perth over to stadium, largest pub in Australia.
WACA cricket ground, in East Perth on the free bus route.
C Restaurant, food is amazing. Restaurant at top of building revolves. Views are great.
Cottesloe beach, train from near Myer.
Hilarys further up the coast, markets and restaurants on the coast.
Hope these help. Beautiful city😊
Loving the channel with you ever step of the way enjoy my friend 😊😊
Hi Lee, Looks like your having a great time 'Down Under' loving the Australia series, just watching on catch up 😎👉
Thanks Andrew.
Great.
Went to Melbourne 16 months ago to see my daughter who lives there.
Australia is amazing!
But you really need to be there to experience it.
Havd a great time mac.😉
Hey Lee have lived in the hills of Perth, Kalamunda for over 50 years, came as a 10 pound pom in 68, never regretted one moment, am kayaking on that beautiful river twice a week, like Manna from heaven, enjoy your visit Lee.
I've always wanted to visit Australia. It looks awesome. A very beautiful place. You lucky man . Great video yet again, Lee .
You can see why so many of us choose to live 'downunder'.
Mister Macmaster! Lee the weather,,the breakfast..the view from the park 😍 bet you'll not want to come back to UK after experience od Australia 😊qhat a bloody different world with the blue skies 💙 🎉
Just to let you know we saw a Lizard and a massive spider in Kings Park, 2 weeks ago. You should have seen the wife panic , it was quality 🤣
What a great place beautiful. That breakfast looked really tasty and by your expression tasted good. Great video.
❤ wow what a beautiful place to have breakfast, enjoyed your walk about , its so good to see the sun we have snow and heavy rain here in Scotland , lee your looking really well hope you enjoy this trip thanks for sharing with us ❤ xx
Kings park is beautiful can’t wait to go back to Perth
loving this content. I have never considered Perth as a destination to go to in AUS but your direct flight video and what I am seeing now is really enticing. Beautiful park/ memorials and city. Looking forward to more....
Thanks for another great video Lee,, I am loving Perth very much😊😊
What a lovely setting and that breakfast looked lovely but yes needed beans bit dry but big 9/10 for that
Love ALL your content! Always a thumbs up! Thanks, Lee, for giving us something to watch and entertainment!!
Ah the blue sky is what i need instead of a dark snowy leeds
That's a beautiful park you're walking through before and after breakfast. But practically no one around. Well, the entire island contains only 26 million people. I expect city centres to be busy, but outside built up areas not busy at all. Shame about the toast being hard, because I thought it looked really tasty. I buy so-called artisan sourdough bread frequently, but you need to butter it while still warm. The butter, or Clover, softens it somewhat. Were those sausages pork or beef? I wonder when the full English breakfast first came to Australia? Perhaps you could ask a cafe owner.
Just ticked over 27 million last month . Too crowded now 😅
Wow such a lovely Park. Thank You.
Australia, fantastic country👍
Giant huntsman spiders can be the size of a dinner plate😲
Fair suck of the sauce bottle Barrie, that’s not exactly true 🤪
@@DebNewton-kh4cv Strange that, the one I saw was. But hey, that's a long time ago, perhaps they don't grow as big these days, or the dinner plates are larger lol.
Great video Lee. We also loved Kings Park. Our late Queens tree that she planted yrs ago was spectacular! Hope you saw it & the memorials.
We love Freeo! Enjoy...
LOL at the reference to trees not having leaves on them in Autumn.
Oz aint that cold, our trees dont drop leaves for winter.
Only time you might see those trees with no leaves is bush fire season...
Hey Hun that place looks fabulous that tower was fantastic view in the park . and the views were you are is fantastic . thank you for sharing this with us beautiful place and I enjoyed that it . thank you xxx

Loving these vlogs. Such a change! Keep them coming Lee!
I love the sun on a dark day. Enjoy your break Lee
brilliant thanks m8
Watching you eat the breakfast was just killing me. The Aussies really know how to do up breakfast in my book. That looked just great. Sooo, on looks alone, I'm giving it a 10.0 -- maybe even a plus.
I've been watching your channel about 3 years. Lee, this is my most favourite one yet. Well done xx
Thank you.
What a great video Lee. It looks a fabulous place. Could you please try to send us some of that sunshine back to the UK as we're sick of rain. 😄
Thank you Lee for yet another amazing vlog. Im sure there is a lot of hard work that goes into making them. You really deserve all the subscribers that you have. ❤
Snake 1: Look there's a tourist, shall we ambush him? Snake 2: Nah, he's got one of those things on a stick that takes pictures, don't want to be on telly. Really nice looking place for a wander.
Lovely weather. Hope you enjoy your breakfast
Great video. Brought back memories . Enjoy Lee 😊
Loving these vlogs Lee, thank you 😊
Don't forget your sunscreen. Love the walk through the park and yes snakes and spiders have little preference as to where they roam.
Really enjoyed this Lee, to see the sunshine and gorgeous blue skies. The bird sounds!! It looks such a great place. Looking forward to the next, watch out for the bugs and killer animals, that’s why I would never want to go personally, let you risk that for us 😂 😊
Watch out for the’Bogan’s ! 😂😂
Beautiful park Lee, breakfast looked ok,wee bit pricey 🙈,views are stunning, and those blue skys 😊, remember next time to carry water!!! looking forward to the next one
Gorgeous!
Giving an insight into Perth, instead of just a name on a map, and I must say, I'm impressed so far. That park is truly amazing. You'd think you were out in the wilds, not so close to the city. Particualry liked the DNA Tower. It's a 'folly in essence. Wonderful. I'm thinking the food prices are very comparable to the UK btw. Basically, just halve the price of everything we see. Enjoying this trip so far, especially the classic car show.
I came to Perth 45 years ago at 19 and I am still here! Bedsit in London or a modern Apartment! Have been back to UK many times but Perth has to be one of the best cities on earth!
I’m envious
Yes there are snakes in Kings Park Lee, Dugites definitely & maybe Tiger snakes around the lakes as they love frogs & both are highly venomous.
Great vlog mate, glad you're enjoying Perth.
Yes they could be dangerous but we love to spread the word to keep the Poms away
Looks amazing ❤
Another great video Lee that breakfast made me hungry what a lovely place that park is missing the summer looking forward to the next video
Fantastic loving it Lee
Zamia Cafe in King's Park is in such an absolutely beautiful setting and the food is top class.
Onwards my friends catching up on all these videos lee your such a legend mate ❤ love the content so so positive
Summer in Australia. How fabulous loving bird noises.
Great video my friend the weather looks brilliant we've had snow showers and strong wind see you in the next one mate Onwards
Kings Park is a great place to wander through. A great vlog Lee 🎉
I was watching this at 11pm i know it's your breakfast but it looked really appetising could have ate it myself, what a brilliant location in the sunshine to start your day 🌞🤠
Beautiful scenery
It's Australia, of course there are snakes and spiders, but you probably won't come across them.
Always carry water with you. Bring more than you think you need. Plan where you will top your water up.
It is easy to get heat stroke in Australia if you don't know how to manage your hydration. Electrolytes will help on the really hot days.
Breakfeast looked lovely
The view from the DNA tower would look mostly the same in Autumn and Winter, as gum trees don't lose their leaves.
Great video looks beautiful there thank you
Enjoyed this video food looked and the views were amazing
That looks a nice start to the day the breakfast a 10 for me clean real looking enjoying Perth great work lee
Glad you feel absolutelee fantastic!
Brilliant videos Lee have a lovely time 😘
Love the videos, roll on the next one 😊
Not surprised you feel great Lee,your on holiday every other week 😄😄👍👍
LOL!! I wish, 4 hours sleep a night Editing. Rest when I'm dead. :0)
Great vlog, what an amazing park, loved the dna steps there. Make sure you use sun cream and maybe get a refillable water bottle for the hotter weather that is coming. 157k subscribers now, well done !
Wise words - and a proper sunhat! Never travel without water, even in the cooler weather.
Fabulous video. Don't forget to take your water with you.
Hi Lee looks lovelly birds and all the greenery fab amazing menu 😂xx
Looks stunning Lee, we are now beginning to see the real western Australia, really looking forward to seeing your videos over the coming weeks.
Lol, when the leaves fall off? Most of those trees are evergreen.
Lee that breakfast looks delicious, and the place looks clean and tidy on looks and your expressions I’d give it 8.5 point lost for the paper straw and half a point for the toast looked a wee bit over done. Your surroundings look amazing I would think you’d have the odd spider and maybe a snake I might be wrong never been to Australia but Perth looks a beautiful place. What a spectacular view from the DNA tower.👍
Terrific views, love the walks, Breakfast, that toast really put me off, we just want decent toast nothing to Yuppie or at least there should be an option, place looked lovely.
Great video, the parks are so green, birds so noisy, and that view point. Perth seems very nice.
Hi Lee firstly thank you so much for taking us all to Australia 🇦🇺 the breakfast looks delicious 🤤 n reasonably priced seems fresh juice is quite expensive 🤔 safe trip & love watching your travels
Nice one Lee, Breakfast looked good quality.Great video 👍
Good vids mate you make me and every1 else want to travel more. 👍going around Australia.
Excellent looking t breakfast Lee .
Breakfast looked really nice. Perth so far to me looks like a very well kept city. Clean and tidy with a nice fresh look about it. Enjoy.
