I’m really digging this. Haven’t been impressed with most of the other videos of similar sized machines doing the same work. This bobcat seems to eat well
It does pretty well. The E26 is a bit light in the rear end for this mulcher head. It needs some more counterweight. I'd say an additional 400lbs would be perfect.
Definitely cheaper but I wouldn't say faster in this circumstance. A brush cutter on a tractor isn't as efficient and typically bends the brush over and doesn't get the entire stem. This mulcher also works on slopes, which I didn't show in the video but the sides of this old road slope very steeply.
It is designed to throw all the material away from you while you use it. I don't recommend using it on an open cab machine, but I have not had any issues. I do wear my forestry helmet and I built a protective cage for the front of the machine since.
For my machine. I just hold the AUX button until both sides of the button turn green. Once that happens, I click the button on the bottom side of the right joystick, and it produces constant flow.
Bought the 36” mini mulcher a couple years ago. Heck of a tool ! Running mine on JD50G. Handles it well ! Check on the additional blade carrier for it. You won’t be disappointed. I have a few videos on my channel #rutmanufacturing
Wow, that thing is a beast! Does a really nice job.
Thank you! It sure solves the brush problem. It goes where a brush hog and tractor can't! Hope all is well Uncle.
Very nice I think that will be a great investment

My slightly heavier kx033 has the same issue, blade low behind me helps.
Thanks for the review!!
You're welcome, very happy thus far.
Neat toy out of curiosity wouldn't a brush cutter be faster and cheaper?

Cool well done!
Thank you!
How much is one of these? I have a kx033-4
Check out Rutmfg.com they have other mowers as well that are lighter weight.
You aren't worried about running this mulcher without an enclosed cab?

@@PathfinderExcavating makes sense just wondering because I have a open cab skid steer and wanted to know how your protecting yourself
A simple expanded metal cage that you can bolt on in front of you. Or a piece of heavy-duty shater proof polymer that's see through would work.
@@PathfinderExcavating I’m going to look into that because seems like a decent way to protect myself
Good luck maybe I'll show what I built in a video so you can get an idea of what mine looks like.
How much does that attachment cost?
With my military discount, it was right around 6k.
What is the hydraulic aux flow on your excavator?
14.6 GPM
How do you put that particular machine in hammer mode?

I purchased the blade carrier! Didn't get to use it yet. I'll check out your videos. Thanks for commenting.
@@PathfinderExcavating the blade carrier cuts the grassy stuff much better and still cuts the heavy stuff also 👍🏼
