I ordered my V1000 about a month ago. I can’t wait to get it. Got a lot of attachments including the forestry mulcher aswell. Thanks for the great videos
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I ordered mine through Dean at Derette. I did it through alibaba and usually communicate with him via what’s app. I have a link to alibaba in the description .
Thanks again for the content, very helpful! I have to admit I am a little disappointed at how long my order is taking. I’m well past 90 days and my order just made it to dispatch 2 days ago. Figuring in the boat ride it’s probably going to be around 4 months to get the machine. Which sucks, because it’ll be winter here in Wisconsin before I get it!
Your not the only one man. Ordered mine last week of Aug. Mine left port on 11/6. Not due to hit land till 12/6. Coming in through Vancouver then jump on a train. So I'm thinking end of December. I'm right there in your area.
Once again, I agree. I’m looking at all the dead trees and brush I want to move, I guess I’ll just let everything pile up. I certainly don’t want to do stuff by hand now that I paid for the loader lol.
Thank you. I appreciate it. You can contact Dean from Derette. He can go over any pricing questions you have. Mine was about $8500 shipped to me here in Oklahoma, plus all the attachments. There is a link to chat with Dean on alibaba in my videos description or you can email him. Tell home you saw it in my video and he should give you a discount.
Great video!!! Think thats the test we were all looking for. If you know your going to be picking up heavy loads it would be best to keep the fuel tank full for more counterweight. Did you ever figure out if attachments from other machines fit that? Like the Toro Dingo or others?
Where can I find the correct fuel filter and oil filter. I would like OEM parts if possible. I have one hour on machine and the fuel filter looks dirty.
I got filters from Dean at Derette. My fuel filter looked dirty as well, so I changed it. I don’t think it was dirty, just the filter looks that way. I posted a maintenance video and went over the filter changes. th-cam.com/video/Yq4f_uxboR8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eiVL5hV-ja68ZPh0
Thanks for this series of videos. Do you mind sharing the contact info for the person you bought it from? I'd love to have one but I want to make sure I'm buying from the correct person.
I appreciate the feedback and am glad they are useful to you! I ordered from Dean at Derette. His contact info is in the video description. Make sure you tell him you came from the video! I use Alibaba and WhatsApp to contact him. You can also goto DeretteLoader.com
Those tensioner bearing are saying wtf . Wasn't bad at 500 but 1k yeah when you were driving and balancing on tension pully yikes. I would use timkens bearing when they go. Thanks for video.
People need to manage thier expectations. This is not a full size skidsteer so they shouldnt expect it to lift 40-50% of its weight with such a small footprint.
That is correct. This things is super handy. I have never tried to lift that much, but figured I’d make a video since I have over 1000lbs of bags here.
@OurLifeInTrees its great that you did this test. It allows everyone to see it's capabilities and not expect it to lift 50% of what the machine weighs. One thing i wish you would of done was do a lift from a dead stop without bouncing on it. I would have liked to see it's maximum weight tipping point and at what height maybe adding a 3 bags at a time and lift up and back down. Then another 3, so on and so fourth until it started tipping with each load. Remember it's lifting capacity also expects the operator to be standing on the machine as a counterweight
I did DDP shipping. So easy. Just need a forklift at the end. Flexible? Maybe a little from my experience. The 450 sells for about $5500 and the v1000 is $9300
Honestly? Fresh content and comparison videos. I have the same questions you do. Which one is better? Will the 450 run the attachments as well as the 1000? Is it worth paying more? How much can the 1000 do the 450 can’t?
Nice video...Go by a WE B Steel on highway 9 and have them cut you about 200 more lbs counter weight and use some longer bolts and you would be set on lifting 1000 lbs no problems.
@OurLifeInTrees how much were the implements and is that a v1000 ? Thanks for responding been thinking about taking the plunge trying to find land in ga
Thanks for the videos. You have convinced me I need one of those. Coupled with a towable mini backhoe, There is not much that couldn't be accomplished on the homestead. Can you help convince my bank account I need it?
Thanks for the video, keep em coming. VERY excited to see an in depth series on your V1000, like you've done with the 450!
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. I can’t wait to get it either!!!
@@OurLifeInTrees I'll ship it to you by this Monday. Remember to pay the remaining balance before I ship it out, haha.

Thank you. I’m glad you appreciate them. I can’t get the mulcher.
Dean told me you can use 2 pairs counter weights for a total of 4.... so you can add 194 pounds of factory weight.
That’s not a bad idea if you are lifting heavy stuff.
I wonder if some kind of thick metal sheet can be welded onto the back of the machine, for better distribution and handling.
I can add more counterweights. I currently have one pair of 50lb weights. So 100lbs of counterweights. Two might be better for this stuff. B
@@OurLifeInTreeswhat do you use?

It would be cool if you could get a Toro, Wacker Neuson or Kubota equivalent mini skid for a head to head comparison video!
I plan to. I have located a Dingo for comparison videos. Haven’t found the others yet.
Derette keep sending me info on their loaders. So tempted. Is it really worth it?
For me it’s worth it. Everyone has their own situations, but this thing is a game changer for my back and projects we do.
Ive watched about 5 of the videos on this mini skid steer, but haven't hesrd him mention anything on the warranty. 🤔
I believe they give a one year warranty on it.

If you modify it and out counter weights on like a lot of owners. It lifts a lot more
It has counterweights. 50lbs per side. 100lbs all in. Much nicer. Bb
how about some fuel tanks than can be filled with water if needed -and drained if you dont need the extra weight
That’s not a bad idea. 8lbs per gallon for water.

I was looking at the forks on the website and they’re rated for 265 lbs, is yours rated more? Thanks for the vids, getting close to trigger time.
I don’t know the answer to that one. I have the adjustable forks, I just assumed they could lift whatever I want! lol.

Do they do monthly payments or down deposit or is it a pay full price all at once.
You have to pay at once or use a credit card.
Are the flexible on pricing? I’m thinking of buying one DDP to let them handle everything for ahipping
I did DDP shipping. So easy. Just need a forklift at the end. Flexible? Maybe a little from my experience. The 450 sells for about $5500 and the v1000 is $9300
It looks like it has the hydraulic muscle but not the balance to lift. If you could extend some more weight aft, it would lift more:)
Yes, I have one set of counterweight, would be useful to have more it seems.
You said on flat ground it can move 1000 lbs. I bet going up a slight hill you could do more weight. Down a hill less weight.
That is probably true.
I would change the gas cap
Yeah, it’s ok unless I lose the key. Lol

Wouldn’t be able to move 750 if it was something evenly loaded on that pallet. Probably less than half if you had placed the bags 1 or 2 high

How about movin a 5th wheel rv?
