Her going into his trailer because she thought it was a public restroom is actually a pretty hilarious and unique concept. lol
I like that it doesn't feel forced and a more Realistic way, if an UNREALISTIC thing...to meet a singer/famous person in a trailer you thought was a bathroom inside. So kudos to making it natural and not forced.
Hello
I’ve read about it in my early-teens wattpad era 😌
Nah. It happens to me all the time. Clumsy people do that.
It doesn't look anything like a public restroom though. They don't usually have mini bars either.
The movie is so heartfelt and beautiful. Will definitely rewatch. Both main characters are strong and well defined.
Right?? I thought it was going to be very one dimentional but i got attached to the characters so much! I teared up on quite a few scenes! Anne never disapoints and just discovered Nick this year but cant wait to see more of him. Their chemistry was really charming!!
Yes! I've never been much into romance movies but this one is great and actually addresses what I'd assume are real issues with these types of dynamics.
His facial expression when she was about to leave the trailer, he was interested right away. I really liked this movie. ❤
As a divorced women this movie hit hard. Not the boy band stuff of course but the ex husband doing what he did. Coming into a newly single life trying to be the best mom and trying to find what makes her happy. If it looks like a younger guy so be it. This was so cute.
I young and if the mom is anne hathaway fxckd it im hitting
It's so sweet how he liked her right away.

I'm manifesting this in my life a Libra nice and this good looking guy, financially stable (will meet me when I already own a house, properties for rentals, successful businesses and when I already healed my inner child - hopefully before I turn 40) someone liking me right away and will pursue me for the rest of his life even when I push him away.
And understandable when you see the girlie's by the pool. So which is worse - vacuous and on the make, or super intelligent and on the make? This scene shows exactly why Hayes, the museum nerd, and the one with so much emotional maturity due to his own broken past, looks for someone older and unconnected to his fame and not impressed by it either. And finds that with Solene
She wasn't a fangirl.
The way he said her father not your husband like had this certain emotion to it I absolutely loved it and the ending with the lights reflecting the colors of the h close me piece to reflect that they were both feeling everything was so beautifully done❤
The line is directly out of the book, the meet cute is different in the book however.
That first part, I FEEL YA! When he said that, it was like a Woah... Butterflies in the gut 😅 and I don't know why ( Think his attractiveness probably had a little to do with that lol 🔥)
The best scene is the first one you said. 😂 The voice, the accent, the way he looks at her… wow
Ohhh I didn’t catch that 😮
I’m so happy that they changed the ending from the book - partly to have a “happily ever after” but more seriously, I was unhappy how the book ended, basically stating an older woman/younger man relationship couldn’t work. Whereas older men/younger women relationships are “allowed” to work out. So I like how the scriptwriters altered it - left it open, but hopefully it worked out. Why not?
Well said! The movie ending makes sense, and more than anything does two things: demonstrates they were truly in love and not just having a fling, but put Izzy first, and how and why Hayes related to that with his broken past.....and to leave them and us with hope. The book ending does not do this, and much as I can appreciate the harsh ending of the original, a movie needs something more, because audiences invest differently into three dimensional people they see in front of them. And to be honest, who could not want Anne's Solene and Nicholas's Hayes to be anything other than happy ever after after all they have been through?
Yeah, why not! When two people's psychological frequency matches and they stay open minded, not thinking what society expects... Their relationship can actually bloom like a fresh flower!!!
There’s a reason why older women don’t end up with younger men. Generally young men are still trying to figure out their lives and older women generally don’t have the time or inclination to want to wait until they do. They want men who are already there and know what they’re doing with their life m. Women value experience in the men they date and men tend to value youth and inexperience because they don’t mind helping her grow into the woman she wants to become. It’s no right or wrong about it women are just different in terms of the things like or want in a partner.
The book ending makes sense though. In the book Solene literally went "Well are you ready to be my daughter's FATHER?" and he couldn't even respond.
Like I'm sorry but the author of the book did it right.
@@vincew4297actually it can and it does. I believe women choose to keep it under wraps and more private, than older men with younger women, seem to do.
This may be contrived, but as played by Hathaway and Galitzine is a perfect opening scene that establishes their characters and set up what is to come.
I love that "Ouch! - truth hurts, doesn't it?" They put so much nuance into such simple dialogue. I love it! Now find them another project together, because such chemistry should not be wasted!
Anne is really an example of perfect ageing! She's absolutely stunning!❤
She is!
I can listen to Nick speaking whole day. Such a beautiful voice ❤
Nicholas Galitzine is a talented actor with a great voice should expand his singing career.
I loooooved this scene! Nick plays this character in such a natural, effortless way that you just instantly believe it and of course, fall in love with the Idea of Hayes Campbell. And of course, Anna is flawless! I’ve already watched this movie three times and the soundtrack is on repeat in my head. Can’t wait to see what Galitzine gets up to next 👏🏻
Nick is very talented!!! It seemed effortless for him.
He has said in interview that next month (June) he starts work on two projects in London, and has mentioned a third. Also that he wants to develop music work, and would even jump at the chance to do some August Moon reality. The producer of the AM music, Savon Kotecha, is very open in his appreciation of Galitzine's vocal ability and work ethic, so it looks like a lot of doors are opening.
A sequel to Red White And Royal Blue!
I thought the chemistry worked because he looked like an old soul. He had such poise & elegance to pull it off. A lovely match for beautiful Ann❤
What a lovely comment! Reflects all those real life qualities in the real life Nicholas Galitzine, which makes his growing stardom the real deal.
I loved this movie so much. I am so happy we are finally seeing movies like this again. The cinema space was so oversaturated with horror, thrillers, and superhero movies the past 10-15 years. It’s been so long since we’ve seen good romance and romantic comedy movies! I am so happy!
Well said!
When the assistant says “We got the Tag Hauer campaign” it introduces the storyline of the watch that will come to play an important role in the film.
Can you explain?
@@jessicatran6005to remember him by
@@jessicatran6005 First, leaving the watch gives him an excuse to return, with the pretence of just getting it back. But it also signals many other things. That to him, time is immaterial. That the time (age gap) between them means nothing, as does their time apart That a watch is very personal, and as he says in the hotel, it looks better on her than on him. It is also an unspoken pledge, and to Hayes, as good a symbol as a ring. It speaks of his heart but is more personal, just between the two of them. And also practical, which they are together- not just romantic.
And I should add, she is wearing his watch in the "Five Years Later" - and I would bet she has worn it every day of those five years as the charm to bring him back to her.
Wow, I LOVE how you think!
Yes, but he was supposed to take off the bracelets and wear the watch for the concert but you can still see him wearing the bracelets during the concert.
I appreciate the objective of giving older women permission to pursue love and happiness. I ask that the producers/director ask themselves why Hayes was underdeveloped as a maturing partner for Solene--the film rewards older women by giving them beautiful young lovers, but I don't think that's sufficient. It is Hayes who asks for more from the relationship. Nicholas Galitzine took every opportunity to give us a glimpse at depth: Hayes isn't a contented boy band member (what if Hayes was cast as Tiny Tim, his bandmates are certainly more childlike, he admits to be attracted to Solene for her intelligence). He grew facial hair for the final scene, but perhaps the Graham Norton interview could have provided us with the list of things Hayes accomplished in 5 years (I can imagine a long list of activities he might have undertaken to respond to the charge to find happiness), so that when he and Solene chat in the future they might have something to talk about! Perhaps a glimpse of Hayes's flat in London (mise en scene) once the art is unpacked--it might reveal that Hayes has become a connoisseur (under Solene's influence)--and maybe a reader with books open and everywhere as he's realized that to keep the love of a smarter older woman there is some internal work that has to happen, or a music studio with awards for his earnest songwriting post-August Moon. There was a real chance to make Solene's triumph much more significant if Hayes had been allowed to escape cliché with her... I believe in Galitzine they had the actor to pull it off as well, so I hold the movie makers to account on this one.
I agree with everything you say. But. Galitzine has explained that the Graham Norton slot was just a happy accident. Julianne Moore (his Mary and George costar) was on the GNS which gave him the window of a few minutes to scurry in, record the song and improvise the chat with Graham to create the update bridge fir the epilogue.
I want to see more of them!!! Sequel please?? I agree with everyone - don’t waste the chemistry that’s here!
This was a very sweet film and shows how men are perceived compared to women, it's ok for a young guy to date a hot older woman but not for an older woman to date a young guy.
Not really…as long as they’re adults no one bats an eye
@@eyeseeyou5796did you….watch the movie? also people always have opinions on female partners of any male celebrity, especially if there’s an age gap or any other “odd” thing the public can latch onto.
@eyeseeyou5796 There's tons of people who bat an eye. It's all over social media when a younger man likes and dates an older woman. I like Asian dramas and when it's an older woman, younger man, love story people don't like it. It's odd that it matters that much to people.
His confused face is the cutest 😂❤
He's so Harry Styles, the way he speaks, the voice, the gestures .... spot on
that's a sensitive comment and also nicest compliment only Harry's fans whould ever say. love it
You do know it's bad that it is that way ? making a book and then a movie out of harrys experience with gr00ming as a teenager and then basically filming his whole life in one direction ? this should NOT be a compliment, it's disgusting and weird that they did that
This made even an old cynic chuckle.
Loved it, especially the ASMR part, I kept rewatching it❤😂
The movie is Simply beautiful! 👌👌👌
I want to see more of them together and more of him in anything he plays in. Will watch that movie over again and again
I don't remember the last time i watched a rom com this good. They should be naking mirw movies like this. Great wirk.
They should make more heartfelt and amazing characters like these. Ugh, give me time to wipe off my tears. Excuse me, I need to sob more at the corner. 😭 🤧
Fresh songs energizes my space! ❤❤❤
You can try the Swedish tv show Love and Anarchy (Netflix). Also older woman, younger man. Gorgeous actors. And the most unbelievable chemistry I’ve ever seen on screen.
they're SO good! LOVE THEM! 💗💗💗
this is my new favorite movie, i feel like hayes sometimes.....Swagger
Anne is really an example of perfect ageing! She's absolutely stunning!
One of my favourite movies of the year
yupp!!
Couldn’t get enough of them
Watched last night loved it 🥰 I’m still reading the book ☺️
They’re acting as if he wouldn’t immediately call security bc he would assume she’s a rabid fan that broke in and then security would tackle her to the ground and escort her out. But then again… I guess if you looked like Anne Hathaway, the rules in life are different for u lol
Surprisingly good movie. Watched it twice!
I’m watching this again. It was so good.
Ann is so beautiful in this
Perfect "meet cute"
His sleeveless are rolled what harry used to do a lot😮
Part 2 sequel pls. Watch this 10 times already hahah
Yess!! I'm personally not into chick flicks but this was so well written. We need a sequel!
The way he awkwardly tried offering her drink options lowkey reminded me of that scene with Hugh Grant in Notting Hill lol
1:06 He is Smitten🥰
This movie was good. Anne is absolutely gorgeous.
…and so is he ❤
At the Met, he called her Annie. Maybe everyone calls her that? But that was super cute. ❤❤❤
Hayes is the hottest man everrrr🥵
His face card is perrrrfect❤
He's hotter, and a more likeable character, in Red, White, and Royal Blue
6/10
@@littleveganhippie935 Never heard of it...
I would love to have a part 2 where Solane and Hayes end up together for real !
This reminds me of the meet-cute scene in Notting Hill! :)
They way he goes on about the drinks is similar to Hugh Grant explaining the content of his fridge :D
Wow that's a great unexpected great way to meet each other 😊❤
Nick is so handsome
great movie! I will sure watch it again
Wish I could see this film.
I love the story of this movie bec. of the portrayal of the main characters. I love the chemistry of Anne Hathaway & Nicholas Galitzine. They are so believable that they are really madly in love with each other in this movie. 100% I have a new romance movie that I love this 2024. ♥️😘
I loved this movie!
MY FAVORITE MOVIE NOW ❤
Queen Anne Hathaway forever! 👑🌟⭐️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️🌟👑
I'm so glad i didnt read or see anything about this movie before watching it. I just knew the backstory and thought it was certainly just an ok film.
So yep my expectations were pretty low and were greatly superseded.
The storyline, the acting, the gang of gen Z kids, the dialogues, the laughs, the emotion, the middle-life crisis, the realistic dimension of it all...! I'm impressed and had a brilliant time. Twice.
So cute ❤❤❤
He could easily mistake her for a 25 year old.
I don't know I thought she looked her age. She looks good but definitely not a 25 year old. It's ok to look your age.
@@arizonagirl6474 I’ve seen some pretty old looking 25-30 year olds. Anne Hathaway looks on average 10 years younger than her age at least.
@@g1xrider13 Oh I agree. Younger people today look a lot older than what they should. My point was that I can see that Anne is in her 40s but she looks good because she takes care of herself. Younger people today don't take care of themselves which is why they are aging badly.
The can of soda changing places! 🤣🤣🤣
This scene is so crack- up 🤣🤣
The funny part here was that his security - Desmond? - was nowhere to be found!
nice movie
so coincidentally that Anyone but You meet cute also involve the bathroom :)
Why do these comments sound like they were written by AI
They probably were- or at least by paid shill farms. Same as the comments on most movie/tv trailers that come out nowadays.
Lol I thought the same. So fake it seems
I bet Olivia Wilde watched this movie IMMEDIATELY after it was released.
If you are a single mom as a result of divorce you can really relate to this movie.
The Rebound Remastered
Bery good movie❤
The movie is good anyone feeling fcked up with life can watch
Súper movie
I watched the movie today, the idea of feminist guy is so important to understand because where I live, most men think feminist guy is 'gay' or act female like or anything but not the correct idea of it. No wonder why my surroundings are full of toxic dominant males 😢 I want to comment on a dialogue too, "why do you hate Danielle and support me when we do exactly same thing? Because I hate him and I love you." The correct dialogue in my opinion would be, "because he was dating another woman while being married and you are divorced years ago." Otherwise the movie is perfect ❤ I love it.
I saw the feminist side of Hayes when he satisfied Solene first thing in the Essex hotel scene.
@@gemmaskyvery much so. All his concern was for her. And that little loving smile when she grabs his hand to stifle her cries. My goodness, Nicholas Galitzine. That was both hot and caring combined.
Watched this with my daughter(43) really liked it, gives alot of thought to the hipocstry ,men can date/marry/father WAY younger, women do it-😮
And if I go into a singer’s trailer … I’ll just get arrested 😭 taken out by Security
Desmond is Harry’s father's name but we call him Des
Hmm....okay, this scene had that thing......
So, so cool hair!
Why tf would she wait right behind the door while someone pees. Be courteous and take few steps back and pretend you can’t hear anything
🤭💘queen
Is this movie worth watching
Read the comments. Check out the reviews. Then take a guess.
Dammit I was trying to avoid this movie. I'm getting sucked in.
1:50 I didn't see her close the bathroom door
Anyone who have a full story? please send the link
A lot of people would disagree.
Hope harry sues ngl (i know he would never, he also didnt with After, but they deserve it). what they did here (especially author) was/is so shitty and its sad to see two good actors supporting it
Anne Hathaway is 41 years old
Nicholas Galiztine was 29 years old
12 years OLDER than him
So what?
@@anndavis2922 the truth never perishes
Which is immaterial as she is playing her real age, and he is playing 24. It is the reality of actors not coming off a supermarket shelf and is called suspension of disbelief. As well as choosing the right person with the wide range of talebt for this demanding role.
Yeah like dating an aunt with the same age gap. Just no. Judge me idc lol
I just need to know, who blackmailed Anne hathaway into doing this role, like she doesn't need this, she's Anne hathaway for crying out loud 😭
She’s one of the producers of this movie so maybe she loved the book
His boldness is oddly sexy.
Dude can play Elon Musk in a biopic...
it's an honest mistake i guess.. i mean, i once went into the male toilet coz all the female toilets had super long q and i was 1 sec away from peeing my pants so yeah.. desperate time calls desperare measure 😂
usually the male toilets are empty at these concert venue for some weird reason 😂
The toilet mistake is set up carefully. Told the VIP toilets are to the right, she looks right and sees only one with guys sitting on the step strumming, and unattended trailers when it would be natural to expect a queue or at least some to and fro. So looks left and sees a woman leave what is Hayes' trailer sanitising her hands, so makes a very natural assumption she was wrongly directed and so makes her fateful "mistake." And thus the film happens.
❤❤❤❤❤
I'll take "pairings that will never happen in real life" for $500, Alex.
DROP BOYS S4 TRAILER 2
On it right now 😅😊❤❤
It's sad, if the roles were reversed and a man is 16 years older than the woman, no one would even question that. Such a sad society we live in
I just didn't see it in them
that was kinda creepy
cringe cringe cringer
I can't believe that you are the guys are going to be having a sequel series to a 2016 movie nobody wanted or liked I can't believe that Prime is taking another L with the new sausage party sequel series
But when Leo Dicaprio does it he's a bad guy. Holy double standards Batman!
No. He is the bad guy because he keeps on breaking up with his girlfriends when they turn 25. It is different when it is by chance.
No actor/singer/celebrity is gonna be this nice with a normie unless they're being paid for it or it benefits them in some way🤣🤣🤣😂😭😭let alone use their bathroom okay?? I mean they can't even pretend to be interested or act excited when they meet their fans😂🤣🤣in real life or at events so forget about being this docile meeting a normie and let alone allow them to use their trailer 😭😭😭Man i had forgotten just how delusional rom-coms can be😭😭
You have also forgotten how British good manners work. His behaviour is completely natural and considerate and nothing other than how any British male would behave, as a Brit watching. (Also, if you watch him in real life, very typical Galitzine courtesy)It is also clear throughout that Hayes craves contact outside his bubble of fame with normal people, sees this as an unexpected but sought for contact, and describes it later as interesting.
A used naterial for a young man... pathetic plot
