First off let me have it known that I am the original "Matty" of this channel, but I will be humble and let this new interloper use my name with my permission 🤣! That aside, this is one of my favourite songs and he did it the justice it so richly deserves. I was always drawn to this song but it became more important after the wife and I visited Graceland. We had "Catfish on the table" on Beale Street and I had the honour of holding the microphone on the spot that Elvis used to record in Sun Studios (nice nod by Mario with the T-shirt of the studio). This is a very piano-heavy track which Darren pulled off excellently. The fade out at the end was especially good. Matty has a lovely raw growl to his voice which reminds you of Marc Cohn but brings his own twist to it. Look forward to more songs from him in the future. Zkye did the job of a whole choir with just her one voice, Stefan was totally in the zone and Mario and Damien pulled it all together. Another classic by the team which just gets better with every listen. Kudos as ever from "The One & Only" Matty 🤘👏
I remember the first time I heard this song, I was leaving the Glynde hotel in my fiat 124 sport and my girlfriend turned the old Alpine stereo on and this was pumping. Loved it back then and love it now 👍
