Man it's great to have some of these standards redone with enough familiarity to give one the comfort of an old pair of shoes and enough originality to make it captivating all over again. Love this band!
Nice job! I saw Seger, one night, for 25 cents. I went to a local armory, where they had bands and dances for kids (The Fenton Community Center, Fenton, MI), and there was a horrible snow storm. About twenty kids showed up - had to be about 1966. It was like a private concert....as I've said, damned near nobody showed up. My buddy had told me, "You gotta hear this band - they're great!" They were still doing cover tunes and a few originals. They were called "Bob Seger and the Last Heard". I still recall they opened with "Summer in the City" by Lovin' Spoonful. And they were selling a record called "East Side Story" off the bandstand. I saw him a couple more times at small venues - even met him a couple of times. Excellent cover - great vocals, great mix....three thumbs up (I'm a mutant). Love from Lapeer, Michigan, US. EDIT: This young guy has a helluva voice - nicely done.

Coming from a Michigander who has grown up with Bob Seger playing nonstop in my house, I gotta say this is the most impressive cover I’ve ever seen. The vocals, both backup and lead, are incredible. Just enough grit. Drums and bass are so in sync with each other. Keys perfectly fill in the space. Acoustic guitar is perfect as well. But the lead guitar. Perfect tone. Perfect playing. Incredible feel.

Only 178,000+ views? This is like a ship full of gold that sunk to the bottom of the sea - no one knows where it is but it is there nonetheless, just waiting to be discovered! This is music at its absolute finest!! Every single performer is amazing - but the lead vocals is just flat out amazing on this song!!

I am just a random who landed here, and they sound great. The channel is called Singit Live and they are performing as though they are playing live, but this is clearly a produced, mixed product. they should just play live, too much of this shit on youtube. I bet they sound great live. You can grow your audience by being legit live.
@@dosey3 these tracks are played live, in one take, which is not how most music is made these days - you might like to check out Darren's @producernerd channel where he shows exactly how he sets up, records, and yes produces and mixes the audio and video. When with HSCC, Darren did offer a ticketed livestreamed show - we may see more of that here, but the copyright issues are a nightmare...luckily originals are on the way.

Fantastic job done by all! Cam's vocals captured Bob's original singing perfectly.
On the production side, it is so evident how well Darren has captured the instruments and given each their own space to breathe without drowning out anything else - the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, and keys all fit in together and mesh perfectly. And the background vocals are like a blanket over the whole thing, just perfect!

Love this. Perfect song to showcase Cam Blokland’s voice, great range of textures, lower range is heaven, Great to see Stefan Hauk. Glorious bvs, tight drumming.
This is more Bob Seger than Bob Seger! And, no I'm not exaggerating. All the rough and ready rawness is there, as well as the fine attention to the quiet spaces in between, where the emotions percolate before they reach the surface and then go into a rolling boil. Superb!
This is old-school Rockn'Roll at its finest. Gravelly vocals: Check. Driving beat: Check, Oh so tasty lead guitar breaks: Check. Goosebump raising vocal harmonies: Check. I was rocking out in my chair like a right loony up until the final notes of this amazing rendition of that timeless Bob Segar classic faded.

Wow. Algorithm got me with a good one today. One my faves. Regal cover of a Classic. Everybody held it down! Not sure how many takes it took to get such a perfect rendtition. Bravo. Bob would surely approve. Going from that climax at 2:55 then straight into the eye of the storm with the calmness is no easy task.
Vocally this has got to be one of the band's best performances, from the fantastic lead to the great bv.

This really comes close to the outstanding original performance by the great Bob Seger himself. Outstanding. Love the lead singers voice….perfect match for Bob and great guitar work as well …….all round wonderful performances by everyone.

Cam is my favorite Singit male voice. In addition, together with Tzan, Stefan, and Crafty, they make a guitar quartet that is impossible to beat and far above those of the other band in town.
A super-smooth, sweet shot of nostalgia. Cam's vocal is the perfect blend of honey and rasp, supported with that golden backdrop of vocal harmonies. So, so pleased to see Stefan back, what a sublime guitar player, top shelf quality.
