I always thought blanching was when you put something in boiling water for just a little bit of time. But you're right. It's when you put it in boiling water briefly, and then in cold water to stop the cooking process. Guess I should have looked it up sooner. Lol. Thanks for the comment.
This is just what I was looking for. I just harvested a big bunch of green beans from my garden. I can see from your page we have similar tastes. I love to cook and make TH-cam videos too. I hope we can learn more from each other. Thank you for your inspiration for tonight’s dinner!
Thanks! Yes, I saw your garden tour and gave it a thumbs up. It's fantastic. It must be wonderful to grow your own green beans! I definitely have the gardening bug, but my garden is tiny and the extreme heat makes it difficult for a lot of things to grow. What part of the country do you live?
Marcy, I made your Green Beans tonight for our dinner and they were so delicious. Thank you! Kyla and my Honey both asked me to tell you how yummy your recipe is. SO VERY GOOD 👍🏼
Leave it to you to pick up on that! Lol When I realized I had forgotten it, I was kicking myself trying to figure out how to squeeze it in. But Tony came up with that idea. He probably did it in about five or six takes. I was surprised (and relieved) it worked.
Yum!! Gonna try to get my girl to like green beans!!😘
Hope this recipe works. I really love them. If she doesn't like them, try tossing a little feta cheese on top.
Looks delicious!
Thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Love this ! Marcy you did it again. Reminds me of the green beans at Furr's Cafeteria . Husband loves this . Thanks Blessings
Thanks so much.
I think blanching is when you stop the cooking by running them under cold water, so they're still colorful and crisp.
Looks good! Gotta try it!

Luv it!
Thanks. I love it, too.
I was one of those kids who hated green beans when I was a kid. Love them now tho. Will definitely be trying this recipe soon!
Thanks Marcy!!!
Isn't it weird how our taste buds change!? I felt that way about onions, and now I put onion on everything.
Mmm yummy 😋
One of my faves, keto diet or not.

Thanks for taking the time to tell me. That makes me so happy. I really love these green beans, too.
@@marcyinspired1442 looking forward to more keto friendly (and hopefully easy, hehe) recipes.
Those look great! I bet asparagus would be good like this! How many takes did it take to get that sour cream tub slide just right?! Ha,ha!
