Hey Mr Crawford. I am a church drummer and my previous church drummer keeps giving me this tip to throw the stick. I wanted to ask you if you know what that meant because I have tendonitis in my wrist and I’m not able to fully play as loud as I want while using the proper technique.
I feel you man.. CJ breaks my understanding of drums every time I watch him and I have ben a drummer all my life. It's just unreal how far ahead he is.
If anybody talks smack about this brother playing drums understand all of you are Eric Moore’s children you have been stealing his licks since gospel chops volume one you’re not making anything new so when you see people like CJ who is playing from the chest really it’s dope to see . And yeah, I said it most of these videos on the Internet ain’t nothing but the same lick over and over but when you see someone with actual talent, make an actual music and make it sound and look great you phony people got a problem. ok but can you even do a 1/4 of what CJ is doing? Focus on yourself instead of trying to marginalize black drummers. You don't see us saying all white drummers sound the same do you?
@@JohnWick-sg8ve Listen..4 me black musiscian are my tune...I allways loved suol, r&b, funk and black singers...Stevie Wonder is my GOD in music. So I mean any drummer from Church, gospel..black,white, asian... I didnt make myself clear..sorry...english is not my first language.. I just mean the stile from " church drummers" from amerika sound verry similar and it's the same chops and fills many times stile wise...regardless of skinn color..🥰
He play with charlie puth if u want to see intentional melody !! And only drummers will understand what he's doing and also the music wasn't loud so ...!!
