CJ Thompson is the one for the licks. CJ's take on Rain on US is out of this world.
CJ is a humam metranome.... His timing is perfect with the way he adds small licks, staying on beat, but complimemting the song as well.
It's crazy because you almost never hear the same lick twice!!!

Hello Joshua Crawford, enjoying your reactions and man you like a few of the drummers I love. I'm a 52 yr old drummer(no lessons ever), singer/lyricist. I'm not amazing, but I think I play well for someone who's never taken lessons. Now if you think Sarah Thawer was bad, check out Aniika Nialles and Mzdrummer (Monica) and first lady sticks.
