It has come to my attention via a commenter that the dance by Serana may be a problem with the AFT mod where the angry emotion triggers a dance for some reason, so I am going to look into other multiple follower mods for future playthroughs.
You can use console instead of mods When you have a follower, type "Set playerfollowercount 0" and ask another to follow you. If it didn't work then experiment with the numbers. I think this is correct tho.
I know this is an older video but Immersive Follower Framework is another one. You can only have 3 followers (plus whatever ones have their own framework) at a time, but it’s an alternative :)

Since the Dragonborn possesses the blood of Akatosh, lord of all the Divines, it could be possible that Akatosh himself would swoop in and claim the Dragonborn's soul from Daedric hands. There's also one post I saw on reddit theorising if the Dragonborn is a Nord, then they will be granted passage to Sovngarde, and if the Daedric Lords tried to claim their soul, they will be fended off by the army of Heroes. ...Or maybe they get dibs on a part of his soul or something, who knows.

As long as you have gone through all of the dialogue with Aela and waited a bit, not sure what the problem is...perhaps some type of glitch. Sorry, it really is something to see her go off on Aela like that...but rightfully so because of her past.

@@Deenomiz yeah...maybe showing her disgust for them all. She does not like the companions and now that she feels like the dragonborn was roped into becoming a werewolf she is pissed. Given her history with not being a willing subject into becoming a daughter of coldharbour and all.
Yes, and if you choose the "come here" option it says the two of you undress and make love. It is made to be compatible with amorous adventures installed. You can get quite the eyeful if your options are set a certain way with that additional mod. The fade to black is because I do not have the mod, I am on xbox and AA is not available there.
You can at least track her with the Serana Tracking marker, which early on wasn't even a possibility. You will at least know when she gets back to Dawnguard castle or wherever she is homed.
If you are talking about the patches, they are only necessary if you need them to work with the item the patch is for. It just may change your experience a little, but not make it bad. Also, the newest SDA mod requires a new game... or at least go back to a save before you start the Dawnguard questline.

Good question, but no...she does leave your service but is happy to see you again once she shows up at Dawnguard a few days later. That would really suck if that was the case!

We became close to her and supported her regardless of her decisions about vampirism. And she seems ok if we deсide to become a vampire ourselves. First; This is a mod, not canon Second; No matter which path you take in Dawnguard DLC, because of the writing you get close to serana, you aren't forced to become a vampire. This is perfectly clear that we can refuse and go away, no one is holding us or threatening us. This is the game develorers who forces us to become a werewolf, not giving us other options to complete the questline, not companions.
