Underrated channel. You deserve many more subs than this. Your voice reminds me of Tom from Toonami. I can imagine you dropping those motivational speeches naturally
Mugen is a far more complex character than he gets credit for. He is callus and brutal because of his upbringing on the Ryukyus where there was no room for love and kindness to in order to survive. All the people he grew up with and were raised by were criminals or children of criminals in a place that was subjugated and stepped on by mainland Japan. He has shown multiple times that he DOES care about others and has his own sense of honor but he is completely unable to verbalize and probably wouldn't even if he could because he has never known kindness or love for his entire life. Jin and Fuu taught him how to care about others, and though he'd never admit it he respects and cares for his companions in his own way. Jin helped him evolve as a fighter and Fuu showed him plutonic love that he had never had.
The show in its totality was art. 43 now cant recall how old I was when the show first aired on cartoon network but its been over a decade almost 2 maybe, love how you use the Piano cover of Pure Imagination. Just look says 2016 it feels like a whole lot longer than that.Had to edit this again it WAS 2005 so it has actually been close to 20 years.
What is this Gem of a Video When Mugen walked past her in this episode It was the last thing I expected but it turns out thats a worse fate for her than death There's a lot more to unpack but damn this was a good vid
You have a very underrated channel and this is one of the best episodes I've seen on Samurai Champloo. It's crazy how you don't know much about his backstory besides that his parents were criminals and probably nuts and died when he was younger and only these two were his closest friends and they both betrayed him terribly. Sara even says during their fight that she could sense that he's never been loved once in his life. That's he's extremely angry but deep down is sad.
Ayy! Thanks for the compliment on the channel. And yeah, Mugen is so entertaining that sometimes it's easy to forget just how tragic his story and life actually is
Brother I love this Channel so much I’ve watched almost every video. The level of detail and critique you give is outstanding and it’s done and said in such a unique and unforgettable way. 2024 is your year man. Keep it up with these videos.

You gained a sub after this video. It sucks that not to many content creators talk about this show, so its nice to find someone who does

Thanks brotha! Those songs are some instrumentals I made awhile ago called Ceiling and Lost Souls respectively.
