This was a fun experiment! In this video, Carl shows you EXACTLY how much the difference in quality there is between that old cheapo 18-55mm kit lens that came with every camera and the premium glass from Canon (w/ the red ring!).
TL;DR: If you wanna get into macro photography, consider getting modifiers first before immediately purchasing premium glass! Unless money isn't an obstacle for you, of course. In which case, mind sharing some? lol
