Good Morning Dylan , Not a bad little session , loved the setting sun it was great , on a plus not a blank whats not to like , so as always Tight lines , till the next time take care
Thanks mate, the fishing has been pretty hit and miss with us here, some people having amazing sessions, others not so much, and the weed has been a nightmare, fingers crossed it will disappear soon. On the ferry back from France as I type this😎🎣🎣
Conditions looked amazing and Nick did really well to get a bream out so early on. We really thought it was going to be a productive night after that. It wasn't too bad, but I definitely would have liked something for the table🎣👍👍
I’m really enjoying your sessions,it’s got me back to fishing on Wednesday i went down to Cowes and caught a baby smooth hound. Keep on with the great videos 😊😊
That's awesome to hear mate, well done. It's so nice to hear that these little videos get people into fishing. I find it's by far the most enjoyable hobby I've ever done, and I would say the more effort you put in, definitely gives more rewards 😎🎣👍👍
Not a bad session Dylan, you seemed to have all the right bait but there didn’t seem to be many fish about. Shame about all that weed. Never mind, onwards and upwards. Tight lines until the next one 🐟👍
Thanks buddy. Yeah I felt like we could have maybe done better. Nick had a bream, so we knew they were there, likewise, I'm sure we could have potentially got a bigger bass. On to the next one🎣👍👍
Thanks you Richard, wait til I get out next😂😂, I've been away for a week, and not back til Monday, hence no video. Hopefully get into some bream I reckon. I did catch a monster garfish here in France, but I didn't film unfortunately 🎣👍👍
Another great video. You made the best of some tricky fishing conditions. Keep trying, you'll get something for the table soon. A simple tip to help with not forgetting essential bits of tackle/kit - write a checklist & stick it to the inside lid of your seat box, I'm assuming you take your seat box every session though. Hope this helps. All the best.
Great session Dylan, watch those rods seen a few go missing when a bigger hound has a go. 🎣 I have the same tripod but I straightened out the top arm and cut them down a bit drilled them and added 2 V shaped rod rest heads, this helped stop the line getting trapped under the blank, a vast improvement imo. Regards Steve.
hi Dylan love the vids i went fishing in the Solent for last 2 weeks and the sea weed is unbearable. but ye love the videos i have learnt allot from watching your videos .
Thanks buddy, that's very kind. The weed has been pretty tough. Even in places where you wouldn't expect it to be, it's been there. I'm away at the moment, but the guys back home are saying there's loads of bream about now, and some mackerel too from the shore, so I'm looking forward to getting back out🎣👍👍
Great session and video! But if you’re going to keep wandering off chatting when you’re getting bites, you’d better get a couple of those bells to clip onto your rod tips!😂😂😂
Thanks mate, we didn't actually, but kinda wish we at least took some feathers, saw a few shoals in the evening. Back from France tomorrow, so hopefully be out again soon🎣👍👍
Great session Dylan, ever thought about not setting targets 😂😂, brother and I saw that blood moon Saturday night on yaverland, where he pulled in a nice undulate ray👍🏼. . appreciate your efforts mate👍🏼👍🏼
I always try not to mate, but I'm always after bream lol, so I'd be kidding myself 🤣🤣. Good work mate. I must admit, I've been pretty lazy of late. Time to get out and about I reckon👍🎣🎣
Thanks mate, yeah another really close venue to me. I'm definitely getting a bit lazy of late, I don't think I've driven further than ten minutes in the last 12 months😂😂👍🎣
Hi Dylan, according to my aged hearing you said Bream, 24 times 😂 ... I have had to rely on my ears having just had a torn and detached retina ... I basically can see nothing out of my right eye ... But hopefully, I will have Laser surgery this week to fix it, but have been warned that I may not get back full vision ... But enough of me ... I really enjoyed your video if not in HD ... I learn so much from you ... But did you know that there is another device other than a forgotten phone, that can tell the time, even in the dark, it's called a Watch! 😂🤣😂 ... Also thank goodness for takeaways, supper will happen 😂🐟🎣🎣
Lol, I reckon you could be right there mate 😂😂, I know it was a few for sure. Hope you get on the mend soon John, sounds pretty bad buddy. I used to own a watch, but I haven't worn one for years, everyone wears these ones that connect to their phone these days, doesn't interest me at all🤣👍🎣🎣
Thanks mate, we are away at the moment hence the slow reply. It really is a nice venue. It's never been that prolific for me, but it's a nice place to sit 🤣🤣🎣👍👍
I didn't mate, but, I went back up through the camp, and walked back around. I tell you what did happen though. I heard footsteps near the end, when I was packing up, looked up shone torch, nothing. Then it happened again, nothing at all. Thought maybe a fox. Then I walked back towards the camp to climb the cliff, and I jest not. There was a complete row of wet footprints running horizontal in the shingle at the top. No start, no end. For about 50m clear as anything. Indentation and wet. Needless to say, I ran up the cliff back to the van🤣🤣👍🎣🎣
Hi Dylan , loving your videos , me and the wife are on holiday and we have brought our fishing gear , could you suggest a beach or beaches to fish with easy access, thanks and keep up the good work 👍
Thanks buddy, I hope the weather improves for you, we just got back from France last night. Brook is definitely worth a go. The tides are very good, and access is pretty straightforward. It's out the back too, so makes for a lovely session. Should be some bream at Norton wall as well, that's in between fort Victoria and Yarmouth pier, again easy access, it's hard standing, but the fishing is pretty easy. If you fish the Solent, the tides are pretty big at the moment, so try to fish the flood, the ebb can be too strong and weedy, good luck and let me know how you get on👍👍🎣🎣
@@FrugalOutdoors thanks for the reply , had a look at brook, looks good but a little unsure how high the tide reaches up the beach looked like it reached the cliffs in places. Also went to Norton and saw what you mentioned about the weed, two anglers there when we pulled up and they were bringing in lots of weed , think we will try Norton but will fish a couple of hours before high tide (11-30) and fish it a couple of hours down, will let you know how we get on 👍
Thanks mate. I started when we moved to the isle of wight. I have dabbled in the past, and fished with my grandad when I was a kid, but never as serious as I do now. It seemed to be a very popular past time here, and I've always loved the idea of catching my own food. I live foraging for mussels, and oysters etc, so fishing was the next step I suppose. I hope you are enjoying the videos 👍👍🎣🎣

Another great episode Dylan. Like the fact that you focus the camera of the rod action. Cheers keep them coming!
Thanks mate. It's been something that people enjoy I think. You get to see every bite. Even the ones I don't 😂😂🎣🎣
Thanks for sharing your session Dylan. Hard work with all that surface weed but fair play to you fishing through it and picking up a few fish.
Thanks mate, yeah it was a case of I couldn't be bothered to pack up and move. That and I'm stubborn 😂😂🎣👍
nice one nick, the sea looked really good. keep them coming.

Thanks mate, it seems that way, but some bigger ones would have been nice. Been on my hols, so looking forward to getting back out👍🎣🎣
Excellent as always. Cheers.
Thanks mate, very kind, fingers crossed for some keepers next time👍🎣🎣

Lol, I know mate, I need to stop doing it. Both times I walked off I got a bite. Then totally fluffed that hound. Fun to watch back though🤣👍🎣🎣
Loved the fishing, sun set, tips and laughter. Thanks Dylan.
You are very welcome Sharon, it's a shame we will both be missing the next comp, but fingers crossed we can catch up😎🎣👍👍
Nice one mucka 🎣
Cheers dude. On our holibubs at the moment, so game on when I get back, how you are keeping well mate🎣👍👍
Not a bad session at all 👍
Thank you, always a bit more enjoyable to watch if there are more or bigger fish I know, but I tried my best, and I enjoyed myself in the process 🎣👍👍
Well done mate, nothing to complain about there buddy, hope you got a bit of fishing in on your break at Bembridge👊🏻 take care 😊😎👍👍

@@FrugalOutdoors just got home, I had a nice hound on a 2 hook flapper on size 1's after flatties lol. N I had 30 cm sole.
@@carldawson832 nice work mate👍👍
Nice easy place to get too. Proves you don’t have to travel far to catch reasonable fish. Nice one. 👍
