Yup, I'm with you, steam guages and old school navigation techniques are the most fun for me personally. Increasingly difficult to do in msfs as the ground stations are phased out irl. Speaking of, if you haven't already done so recently, you should check out the celestial navigation mod since its recent massive overhaul. It has a lot of cool new features 😊
Yes I saw that when it released, I would definitely use that, just haven't gotten around to any proper stellar navigation flights recently. I should try to do a longhaul on stream while using it, that would be fun! Also, I am quite desperate for more four engined vintage airliners. Such as B377/Connie/Britannia. Aircraft where stellar navigation was really a big deal
To answer your question, personally I’m not really interested in any vintage aircraft - except for the likes of the Tiger moth. Not sure why, but I think it’s because I prefer more real world simulation - flying aircraft that are currently flown IRL. However, I far prefer flying the latest GA aircraft with steam gauges - using more traditional navigation. lol. I love the Blacksquare aircraft (Beechcraft KingAir, Baron, etc.) the most.

@PeterMatthess yea that would be a fun stream. Although even the 707 had a periscope sextant 😉

yea vintage airliners are definitely not for everyone. its the high workload+8hr cruise nobody wants to do. Which is understandable.
