    You guys are awesome. You're like the Chilton's manuals for phones. Super impressed & subbed.

    As much as I appreciate the time you took to make and upload this video, I can't help but get annoyed at how easily you got the back cover off. very simple when it's been removed ahead of time but not so simple doing it live.

      +edward roberts We apologize for this. It does take more time and lots of patience to remove this back without damaging. Motorola used plenty of adhesive here.

      such a douchebag move. make it look easy then the person goes to do the same thing and ends up putting scratches all over

    I am getting no sound on the speaker when i am trying to play any audios etc or i get a phone call but i do get message notification sound or app alert sound notification so i am thinking there is some problem with the bottom speaker .. it started happening after i replaced battery.. should i try fix the sound button ribbon connection or open lower speaker clean up and put it back .. the sound was working fine before the battery replacement wondering if i have messed something but i haven't touched the lower speaker at all so wondering what could be the issue .. Pls Suggest

    Is the store still operational? I'm looking to buy a new screen. Your price is the only one that's justifiable for this project. The others cost as much as buying another phone haha.

    I have a problem with the wifi and I want to know if it is integrated into motherboard or it's a séparated parts

    My phone doesn't charge when I plug it in. It only charges using a wireless charger. Why do you think that it?

    I didn't see a micro usb charge port on your website's list of parts.

    Good thorough video. Just one big problem. As I was watching the video and pausing to do a step by step tear down, I stripped a screw on the housing. I have found that a T3 driver will work much better. I spent 2 hours trying to remove the stripped screw which came off with the internal metal part that is screws into. Had to finally use a precision blade to cut the screw out.

    HELP! I was trying to remove the 22 screws on the back of my phone but the two screws deep in the phone next to the camera won't budge despite how much pressure I use. Any tips on how to remove them without messing up my phone?

    • @Repairsuniverseusa
      @Repairsuniverseusa  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Mohamed Tairi Try applying slight pressure on the screw heads with a small flat head. Slowly try and get the screw out. We understand this could be more problematic, we apologize to hear about this issue.

    I didn't see one, but I am curious if there is an IMEI sticker anywhere inside the phone. I can plainly see a barcode at 7:17, but I don't think that's it...

      +Jordan Lairson The imei number should be on a small sticker on the SIM tray.

    my microphone did not work. is it possible to repair or replacement ?

    • @Repairsuniverseusa
      @Repairsuniverseusa  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The mics on this phone are soldered to the motherboard. While yoiuo can replace them the repair is outside the scope of our videos.

      You can grind the screws out if they are just 3 using a dremel and bit 192

    where's the microphone?

    • @Repairsuniverseusa
      @Repairsuniverseusa  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Juanpa Juarez The microphones in the nexus 6 are soldered directly onto the motherboard.

    • @Juanpaa96
      @Juanpaa96 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, if the microphone is not working, I can't repair it?

    • @Repairsuniverseusa
      @Repairsuniverseusa  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Juanpa Juarez a new microphone can be soldered on, that repair however is outside he scoe of our videos.

    Keep your hands off the device for a second at least so we can see something. Thanks.
