      There's several reasons why it isn't more popular, and that's ok. I love this bike
      Handles extremely well in the twisties, very planted and stable

      It’s because the competition offers more bike in other areas. The MT09 is lighter and faster, the street triple is lighter, faster and more agile, the 890 duke is lighter, faster and more agile than all of them, the Ducati monster is lighter, faster and has more “soul”. However the BMW has the tech, decent amount of power, cool sounding 270 degree inline twin, cruise control and more flexible platform of riding such as touring. I’m really tempted to get the f900r because it fits so many of my needs even though it’s not as fast as a liter bike.

      @@thodoris3790 It’s 270 degree parallel twin. It’s just like the mt07 engine only with more power. Thats why it has the sound of a V twin motor. Suzukis new gsx 8s is the same way as well. A lot of manufacturers are going this route because it’s cheaper to build a twin rather than a smaller displacement 4 cylinder.

    Hi, can you share what mirrors you have and if they suit you. Thanks.

      They're fenrir mirrors, just knockoffs really. You can find them on amazon

    Do you have cruise control?

    • @KBar_Moto
      @KBar_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure do, pretty much every single BMW bike made in the last few years has cruise control standard equipped or at least offered as an option

      @@KBar_Motoim thinking about getting an f900r is it good for long commutes or just 20 to 30 minute ride

      @@jernps4475 I’m back to doing 1 hour commutes one way and overall very easy to do a long ride on. My only complaint is the stock seat isn’t all that great, and upgraded one would go a long way on comfort

      @@jernps4475 The f900r is a great bike, extremely underrated to. Let me explain the con/pro to it.
      Con is the seat, cause it sucks. Although, I do 3-4hr rides on it and I don’t find myself hurting anymore. The first couple weeks yes, but I love the hard compact seat because it ables my sport abilities with leaning. I’ve leaned this bike to 51 degrees, and it can surely do 53-55. This bike is a monster, and I promise if someone says its a bad bike, that they can’t ride it like I can. This bike needs to be claimed, and I can beat a s1000rr, m1000rr, or a Ducati Panigale all day with it on a track, been there and done it. Its top end sadly stops at about 140mph, but it can climb to 148mph if you pin it in non-windy conditions. All BMW bikes will do 150 for the most part. Im sure the bike could do 155 if geared better, but is there really a point?
      The bike will wheelie in 1st gear only, and you can hold it there for 7-10 seconds if you are a good rider (I am able to).
      One last con is its fuel economy. The BMW F800 GT out performs the F900R by a mile, as I’m averaging only 100 miles/tank right now. If you ride 65mph on cruise control, you’ll get 170-200. It can easily do a 200 mile commute if you over fill it and cruise.
      I’ll say this. The f900r is your everyday commute bike, with an addition to being able to keep up with liter bikes in Canyons. Don’t expect it to haul ass on the highway at 170mph, because she won’t do it. She will do 130mph all day, and 145mph on a good say.
      Its worth that high price point. The MT-09 has nothing on this bike. From the premium feel to the heated handle bars, upgraded adaptive ABS, cruise control, adaptive headlights, etc. MT-09 feels like a cheap toy. I’ve ridden both.
