Great video! I remember liking some of these clip shows as a kid, but that's mostly because I got into The Simpsons via getting DVD box sets every birthday/christmas and I was mostly watching them out of order, so stuff like the full episode recaps in "Another Simpsons Clip Show" would be the only way I could watch "I Love Lisa" or "The Last Temptation of Homer" until a relative was able to find season 4 or 5 at the DVD store. I haven't rewatched any in years since i always skip them on streaming, but I still have the "Paint Your Wagon" song getting stuck in my head at least twice a month for some reason Also, I can't imagine the alternate universe where Fox got them to do four clip shows per season. With so much time looking back, they would barely have any new material to clip!
I don't think the Gump Roast episode was that bad. Just the Kang and Kodos thing because they're only supposed to only be in Treehouse of Horror episodes
I wish those other Troy MxClure clip show predictions happened when Patty married all those guys including Scratchy. When Lisa was turning into a lizard because of Bart's super powers. And when Bart was part of long lost triplets.
Yeah that’s fair enough. I get the impression that the writers didn’t particularly like working on them either. I enjoyed the direction they took ‘the 138th episode spectacular’ but it was probably for the best that the clip shows became a thing of the past.
@@macmonkeyhat I don't know what it is about the title "Gump Roast" that they should do to lead into the Roasting, but I will agree that it felt ridiculous to not stick with one plot. However, I'd argue that since "Another Simpsons Clipshow" is the most laziest, I would've ranked it as #5. There are other things I want to say about this video: 1. it looks like Moe's Austin Powers grin beats out the Uncle Moe/Duff Calendar smile. 2. Maybe, when he was leaving work, he did see a dead flying monkey at the parking lot, and Homer's like "That Mr. Burns, having one of his crazy episodes".

YOUR SO QUIET
In my opinion, none of The Simpsons clip shows were good, despite The Simpsons being a great show.
