    Nice life/work balance example that you're providing. A splash or two on the beach shouldn't be a problem, but a clean, damp (tap water) wipe down is what I do to keep my gear clean. I avoid changing lenses on the beach. I have friends that are resort photogs and they only take their old cameras on the beach.

    Great video. Glad I’m not the only one who has a work camera and a family time camera. I love the combo of the RP and RF 24-240mm as a family time vacation camera. Lite enough to carry around all day, enjoyable to use, and if something happens to it I wouldn’t be devastated like if it was my R5 and 70-200mm

    Wirestock take weeks sometimes to process your photos, don't expect miracles from them

    I try photographing my nephew and nieces but they are very good at standing just out of shot… So I put my camera down turn my wheelchair around; pick my camera back up and……… Oh they've moved again 🙄🙄🙄🫤

    Even if the photographer is a pro the kids hate it.

    Yikes, straight away shows the difficulty of trying to take good photos while with family. People are there to have a good time, not to wait for lenses to be picked, getting into the perfect light, posing etc. My kids have a certain amount of time for this but after a certain point I'd feel guilty for spending so much of the experience worrying about photos

    • @VanessaJoy
      @VanessaJoy  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s why we only spent about seven minutes doing this. 😉

    If you're a male photographer and take photos of kids, yes even your own, ANYWHERE you'll get looked at like you're a creep! I despise this so much that I quit taking photos of, yes even my own, kids ANYWHERE except in my own backyard. Such a shame that that happens. 😩

      Just don't pay attention to what others are thinking, otherwise you'll never get those great shots. If it's one thing I learn the hard way in photography is you never stop from trying to get that best shot.

    Hopefully that salt water didn't get into the camera, it will kill it pretty fast.

    I was so worried for the well being of your camera throughout the entire video. Saltwater, sand and heat are detrimental to a camera's lifespan.
