    Been shooting R6 for a couple months and love it. What is the key for that light and airy look in editing?

    I love shooting in the golden hour. My favorite part is when they finally relax and start to enjoy the session.

      @@RebeccaRiceEducation I shoot portraits in Myrtle Beach, SC, they are horrible here... and we call the tall grass "sea oats". I used to shoot only natural light, but with the harsh light here I've started using HSS to keep backs to the sun and a good cpl to avoid blown out backgrounds, it also helps improve the clarity of the water.

      @@RebeccaRiceEducation Hey do you do anything with HSS? I know most clients like the "light and airy" look, but I love using HSS to bring in the clouds and sky, basically a good cpl on the lens, set my settings for the sky to look good, then use hss to appropriately light the subject
      2 completely different styles, but curious if you've ever tried it

    I photograph up at AMI all the time, but located on Siesta key. Your process just like mine! yay!

    What if you want to make the background more visible? Should your lens be 50mm with F5.6 and lets say a good 15-20ft away from the subject is good?

    Hi Rebecca, is light and airy only achievable if using natural lights?

    When you take family photos with small kids do you manually focus or shoot with auto focus?

    How do you shoot with such a high shutter speed and not get any noise in the background, I have a mark iii and I have the issue sometimes xo

    • @royaltykidstv
      @royaltykidstv ปีที่แล้ว

      ISO is what gives you noise, if its too high that is. High Shutter speed will freeze motion, walking would be 1/500 and higher so you dont get blur shots.

    Why didn't you lower your ISO to 100 when shutter speed is so high?

    Which beach in AMI is this?

    • @RebeccaRiceEducation
      @RebeccaRiceEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it was called Bean Point or something like that?

    • @AAVIATOR481
      @AAVIATOR481 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is Bean Point which is the northern most part. It is somewhat difficult to find parking if you are not with someone renting there. The piers are great areas because you can also get the Sunshine Skyway bridge in the background on the right day for a couple and visitors like that as a memory of their time there.
