I kinda feel MM was rigged in favor of Sonic. The blades are put behind the main stage and then come towards the stage. He could then put all 4 blades together when they come down and then KO Sonic by flattening him.

I was going to argue that If Eggman would win in just one, wouldn't he win in general since Sonic has to get through every fight anyway, but then I realized you could argue that he'd straight-up die if some of his inventions failed too badly. Yay video game logic!

Also because it actually shows Sonic as FAST, which....the early game, despite being better platformers than the modern games, really don't do a good job at keeping Sonic true to his namesake.

Hey triangly I know this is an old vid but it was easy to click on cuz it was on recommended I just wanted to say merry early Christmas and can’t wait for the next pinch mode!
Eggman is smart, right? So if it were realistic he would use his intellect and just shoot Sonic with the laser in the Vs Metal Sonic race. Or better yet, use a decoy to fly over Sonic so Sonic thinks he will run away and be fine, then when he does hypersphere just sit there with the real laser so he just runs into it and dies. Or just never open the door to the next room so Sonic accidentally runs into it at Mach 5. Or... There's too many ways Eggman could actually do this, like doesn't he canonically have an IQ of 300? My Iq isn't that high and I can think up how to kill Sonic.
Welp, I think the biggest problem with Eggman is his ego. :P He could probably kill Sonic, but his ego always seems to get in the way. It's how you end up with overly complicated plans and such. Plus, he wants to be able to gloat. Stardust Speedway is an excellent example of it. He could have killed Sonic while he was showing the laser. The race itself was pointless, but he wanted some way to shove it in Sonic's face that he lost at his own game, and that Eggman had made a mechanical copy that was better than him. It was another way of gloating because of his ego, but that messed him up.

Wait... How did metal sonic lost? The damn thing is an electrified minijet and could've shocked sonic while he was getting ready.
Eggman is smart, right? So if it were realistic he would use his intellect and just shoot Sonic with the laser in the Vs Metal Sonic race. Or better yet, use a decoy to fly over Sonic so Sonic thinks he will run away and be fine, then when he does hypersphere just sit there with the real laser so he just runs into it and dies. Or just never open the door to the next room so Sonic accidentally runs into it at Mach 5. Or...
There's too many ways Eggman could actually do this, like doesn't he canonically have an IQ of 300? My Iq isn't that high and I can think up how to kill Sonic.
Welp, I think the biggest problem with Eggman is his ego. :P He could probably kill Sonic, but his ego always seems to get in the way. It's how you end up with overly complicated plans and such. Plus, he wants to be able to gloat. Stardust Speedway is an excellent example of it. He could have killed Sonic while he was showing the laser. The race itself was pointless, but he wanted some way to shove it in Sonic's face that he lost at his own game, and that Eggman had made a mechanical copy that was better than him. It was another way of gloating because of his ego, but that messed him up.
Is it just me, or Sonic CD is a really short game?
