I discovered something odd using 2 SD cards. I wanted to only show the game icons for games I actually had downloaded on each card. For example, only Zelda on card 1 and only Mario on card 2. If I delete the game icon for Zelda on card 2 (which it isn't installed on) it would delete the icon from card 1 also, so I'd have to redownload it.
I obviously have way more than one game installed on each card. But I want the game selection screens to look tidy and only show game icons I have actually installed on the particular card, not a game icon with a little cloud symbol above it. Doesn't seem like you can do that.
@@caj5888 Hmm... that is interesting because I wasn't interested in hiding the game icons from the screen but be able to use 2 different kinds of SD's so that I wouldn't have to be forced to buy a larger sd card since they are so expensive. My assumption from your statement is, don't delete any if you still want to play them since you'll have to redownload them after.
I need help I just bought the new Nintendo switch I transferred everything over from my old switch to my new one but whenever I go to put the SD card into my new one it says it has to be deleted because it was in a previous switch but it has all my games and stuff on it so I don't want to delete it I want all my games and everything that's on it on my new switch so how can I fix this
Hmmm... this is an interesting dilemma because I ARCHIVED resident evil and put it in a separate sd card so i could play them on the SAME switch but having to replace sd cards for certain games. From what you are saying, you have 1 micro sd card and 2 switches (an old one and a new one)... the old one is probably gone but everything in it was transferred to a micro sd and have been used on make the old SD card be read in tthe new switch. 1. I would use a separate sd card to trick the system into installing lal the old games and then after they have been uploaded then you acn try to insert the old sd card. 2. I would try to re download the games you own on the new switch and start from scratch since the old sd card could be considered.
@@hasantariq869 At the moment, I'm not interested but in the near future once i find out more information in regards to games being able to be shared then maybe but its hard to make any promises to a complete stranger... I sold Payday 2 & Doom to Gamestop already. I'll be hoarding MK8 since its fun for kids and down time. Good luck with your inquiry of finding partners for your game sharing escapade.
