I’ve had both, I think I like the Wheated better. I heard it’s a good alternative to Weller

I bought the bourbon a couple of months and didnt like it but went back to it recently and absolutely love it.

Just picked up the Wheater to keep the Rye, company on the shelf. I need to pick up the new version of the Rye now that Bardstown bought the brand and the KY-10. $35 nice sippers, everything doesn’t have to cost $200 to be drinkable 🥃

Great comparison. I have yet to have either because I can’t get away from Early Times BiB. But will give it a try. Thanks

Love em both, plus I have a single
    Barrel and the rye.
Wheated my favorite of the two here by a smidge

A bought a Green River bourbon and it was okay. I think I'm a 100 proof and higher drinker lately. I'll revisit Green River when the proof is higher and if the price is reasonable.

I've used the Green River Wheated for substitute for 1792 Sweet Wheat ( which good luck getting). But I like the standard Green River

I found the Wheated Bourbon last month and loved it, better than Larceny.

Both Green River Bourbon's are great bottles at their price points. Wait until you try their rye whiskey, which has not been released yet. It is wonderful.

I know that there are very valid reasons why some areas don't have certain whiskies, but sometimes I just want to scream. These sound so good, and they're not available here. 😢 I guess I'll just have to enjoy this George Dickel No. 12 sippin' whisky. 🥃

I’ve seen these two Green River offerings reviewed recently on other channels as well, and I’m wondering how these two compare to the recently, similarly reviewed Bardstown Origin Wheated and Higher-Rye bourbons. I’m probably judging too much on price, but I’m assuming the Bardstown counterparts are better. I’ve tried those, but haven’t grabbed a bottle of Green River yet. I’d prefer the wheated either way.

Have you tried the new label of Green River? It says non-chill filtered

BUT if you already had Wild Turkey 101, would the standard Bourbon stand out?

Howdy n Thanks for the review. I have beard good things bout this line but till last week had not seen it here in Texas…have sipped the rye and will withhold my judgement until round 2. Not sure I am a fan at this point but will try it once again and see!

I was drinking Green River Bourbon, not knowing it was a high Rye bourbon. I was receiving a strange finish. After I knew it was a rye, I was able to taste the rye finish. Weird experience all together.

THIS OR THAT?! WhiskeyTube Mom & Dad why are you making me choose between them? Can't I love you, I mean, THEM both? 😜 But seriously folks....I agree with @Brad-ic4bp, I wonder how they compare to their sister distillery.
