awww this was soo wonderful! thank you for being so vulnerable about how real seasonal blues are and even though you live in a beautiful place you are still allowed to experience bad days and emotions. the struggle can be real sometimes when you are in a place so far away from home and so cold and dark and then you have all these emotions, it’s totally great to share that it’s ok to feel all that even while you can appreciate the scenery around you too, or not, and just feel the emotions :)
crying while reading this, I usually feel so guilty for feeling so down during winter while living in such a beautiful place (Edinburgh, Scotland) but this makes me feel seen!! thanks helene for the raw video and evjhq for this comment💖💖💖
Quick Bread Rolls: One part yogurt One part flour (mixed white flour with another fiber that contains more fiber. HVETE SAMMALT = whole wheat flour) Salt 175 C for 25 minutes
I've been following you on IG for a long time, and you're content was the reason why I travelled to Norway twice in the past 9 months. I'm so happy you've decided to create a longer format of travel content here on YT. Can't wait to see and follow for more
Hello Helene, I’m 21, I follow you from France and I wanted to thank you to share us your love for the Lofoten, and all their amazing landscapes. It’s the top 1 destination of my bucket list and I really hope I’ll get the chance one day to hike there. I’m waiting to have a few weeks ahead (or months 😁) and more money to have enough time to be able to appreciate it as its true value!
This is beautiful. I'm 15 and my dream is to travel to places like this. I just wanted to thank you. Videos like this inspires me so much and makes me so excited to do things like this one day!
Perfect!!! Just perfect and we love it!❤ I can't wait to see more from you here too! My favourite person on the internet🥰😄 I've learned so much from you and discovered stunning places from Norway because of your magical inspiration!! Norway is my favourite country after Switzerland ❤
I was just a month ago in Lofoten and what a dream place! I think it is a place that even if you try to describe it, you would fall short... I will definitely come back in summer to enjoy the beaches, the mountain and the midnight sun! P.S: I've been following you for a few months now on IG and I love your content.
Thank you for sharing so vulnerably and simply. Really enjoyed watching this and getting to know you a little. Very sweet video and very relatable. I love your Instagram and its all so beautiful but like everything these days one can Get impression that «everything is so perfect».. this video somehow adds «a human dimension»… like one man said (forgot his name- from «diary of a ceo») that vulnerability is scarce or rare these days so people really appreciate it…☺️ Anyhow- happy for you that you are doing well now ☺️ and Congratulations with engagement!!🎉
I have come to your YT channel after viewing many of your fabulous IG Reels over the past few months. It's so nice to meet you in a more casual and relaxed way on this video. You are really down to earth and have such an infectious smile! Having just returned from 35 days of travel throughout Norway, including 15 days in Svalbard this summer, I have decided I want to go back... especially after seeing your tips and suggestions - there is so much beauty and things to see and do! So I have subscribed to follow your adventures and the places you see and recommend. And maybe I will return this winter, to photograph the Northern Lights and visit more of remote Norway and the Canady Cane sunsets you so vividly described in one of your reels. Cheers and thanks from Montréal :-)
Yeees I would definitly like to see more videos from you on youtube, which is the best / most real plattform on the internet, at least in my opinion :) And I love your content and Norway so much! I came on your IG after my first visit in Norway, which was really love at first sight and your photos inspired me even more to come back to this beautiful beautiful country. So i travelled last year with my bf 6 weeks also in a caddy through Norway and it was amaaaazing...so yes please more content from you and my favourit country! lots of greetings from Germany :)
I loved the video. Soulful and a bit shy :) Keep it up 🙌 Would love to see more vlogs like this. Btw, I've been to Lofoten a week ago for the first time in my life. These mountain peaks, fjords and a cod smell just blew my mind haha 😄 So scenic and peaceful. Will come back for sure ❤️
I’ve dreamt of Lofoten for years and finally made it there last year in May! It most definitely is the most beautiful place ever!! A very humbling place as well and the kindness and warmth of the people there is one of the best memories I keep. Unfortunately I only discovered your insta account after I came back from Norway!! But already saving tips for the next trip! Thanks for sharing ❤️ Much love from Beirut 🌿
You're a inspiration person! Ps: I coudn't imagine that you don't do good with cold, me too haha And It's nice to see that you push your limits and bring so much fun content, nature and life, we want to see more realness for sure! Thank you ✨🌈😊 Wishing you all the best!

wow dette var morsomt å se Helene ,og det ser nesten for naturlig ut når du snakker til kamera, og det er bare første filmen!? 🤩skjønner godt at du føler deg sånn om våren. Jeg gleder meg til å se mer filmer fra deg ☺
So nice you making a video! Follow you since last september as I lived in Norway there until this February because you spreading nice vibes and cool locations there on Instagram! 😊😍 Nice to see you as Person in a Video like that! I also visited Lofoten, OH MAN! ❤ Such a beautiful place! I have to cone back to Norway next time in summer to hike more. 😍 Greetings from close to -we call it „little Norway“ - the National Park Berchtesgaden in the south of Germany. 😃 You also would love to hike there! 😃 Jonathan
Ahhh so happy you have TH-cam 🥰 I’ve been following you on Instagram and tik tok for quite a while and I love this as long form content, excited for more 🩷☺️
Thank you for that inspiring video! 🥰🥹 I have a question and would be so glad if anybody could help me with that: I'm from the Alps in Europe and that changed into a very crowded region within the last years. Back in 2017 you could spontaneously drive to a campsite in the summer and get a spot. Nowadays it's impossible doing that, because there is a lot of overtourism... i am craving these good old times with less people, that's why I want to travel scandinavia (sweden/norway) this year. I know that there are rural areas, but I heard that Lofoten became also super crowded in summer. We will travel in June/July/August. Does anybody know: Did you have problems finding a campspot? Is it really that crowded that there are tons of vans and not a single local vehicle anymore on the streets? I do not want to support overtourism in other countries - but would also love to see that place once in my life... For real experienced i would be so glad!! Sorry for the long text!
Sorry, something I wanted to add: I realised that overtourism in my region startet within social media. People showing places and thousands of others following these tips. I totally admire that because you can information so quickly, but also want to get you sensitive for sharing exact routes and details (not only you Helene, everyone who reads this). I have never been to Lofoten, but somehow i have the urge to safe that place for the consequences that will follow in a few years like it was in my home 😅
Hey, will probably be alot of tourists in june-august, but if it’s too crowded there are alot of beautiful places in North Norway that will also amaze you, Can recommend Helgelandskysten, Steigen, Harstad, Andøye, Senja, all places that will give you insane views and mountains. Norway is quite big, so there will be hours driving to different places, but the ride between is a journey for it self because of the nature and yeah. Lofoten is especially crowded in high season and those high recommended camp spots might be taken yes, but if you have a car just go whenever and explore around and you can find smaller campsites a bit away ect to stay for the nights. Would really recommend you to go visit north of Norway and be open for other spots then just Lofoten🙏🏼🦋✨
@@hjerteogsjel a huge thank you for that long and helpful answer!! 🫶🏼 that really helps me! I definitely want to admire all those spots other than the ones that are always being advertised.
So proud of you for making this ❤️
Let me know if you need some explosions or spider-man effects in your next video :))
