Nowadays they can make my screeching cat-in-a-tree grinder voice sound like Adele the computers and mixers they use and it shows when the "artist" has come out and lip sink to their own music.
It's incredible how amazing NIN live sounds. I've seen a lot of bands who just arent the same outside the studio production, but not NIN. Trent Reznor is truly a music god.
One of the best performances I've seen on TH-cam My husband got to see them before he passed away. And he told me it was too incredible. He couldn't put it into words .just a big fucking smile on his face for days!! Thank you NIN. for giving him one of those once in a lifetime happy as shit moments!!!

Finlay Poulsen seen em back in the 90's on their downward spiral tour. Great show.We had balcony and security let us on the floor because he was blocking our view. Lady luck.
Finlay Poulsen Seen NIN twice in my life...first time 1994, Denver, CO, with Marilyn Manson opening. Then 2008 at Voodoo Fest in New Orleans. I have always loved and still do love Trent Reznor...
They have a good sound engineer because they sound amazing. This concert is at staples center in LA and that arena is huge so the acoustics is not always great. This is the best live version of this song I have ever seen. Amazing!
Tim Schrum dude I saw them live after having chemo in the morning... then did the exact same thing the next day after a decent drive to the next city.. back to back days of chemo and NIN.. good luck to you brother beating that awful disease.. you seem in good spirits and that goes a long way

Trent is one of the best music writers and producers of our generation, he made the music industry change when nin formed to give us alternative or industrial.
The awesome moment when your 4 year old sings this at you when you try to take toys off him so he can go to sleep. I'm pretty sure i've got this parenting thing right :D
That's hilarious! My 7 year old sings this song, as well as other Nine Inch Nails songs. It's so funny hearing kids singing this type of music. It just proves they have awesome parents.👍🏻

Now his daughter is an amazing musician.
For being so electronically dependent in the studio, it always blows me away how amazing they always sound live.
Sound engineers can only fake so much live.

He most certainly is a music God. NIN are amazing on stage full stop!
All the best bands are as good if not better live... they can't be contained by the studio.

Whippybox_grHD! Agreed, also I love your profile picture. Green Day is my favourite band and Insomniac is my favourite Green Day album.
It does kick some ass.
This is one song that needs the distortion of live performance. It always sounds a little more powerful performed live.
So true, this and Terrible Lie.
+Nicholas Vladd Hurt is another one that's amazing live.
Pino is a hell of a bassist....he has played with The Who, Don Henley, Elton John, John Mayer, Jeff Beck and many more.....but I love him with NIN.

If this song doesn't define the 90's, then I don't know what does. Such a timeless and tasty jam!
Some RATM songs too
Did not expect to see Pino Palladino on bass! What a badass!

He also did it for Gary Numan which is brilliant
An example of why a true artist ALWAYS sounds better live than the studio recording. All Hail NIN!
