Also Creta does get the traction and drive mode selector
Alcazar is loaded with features but safari s engine is it's plus point moreover comparing the prices safari makes more sense
And safari build quality more better than alcazar
We cant discuss on the build quality safari has better looking quality but need to see crash tests and real life instances

Safari is the real SUV from its platform to its driving dynamics, plus it has the DNA of Range Rover and 5 star safety too
you are 100% correct but the thing here is Safari is a SUV which has 7 seats and is for performance, but alcazar is a family car it is not made of off roading, it is for a nice ride
Safari is Spacious & most Comfortable SUV, where as Alcazar is Featured & Premium lacks on Space.

Finally a found a real comparison between both the cars. Safari is the winner 🏆. Harrier scored really good ratings with global encap and same is the story with safari . Whereas all hyundai cars scores are really poor. I would definately go for practicality from safari rather than bells & whistles from alcazar.

I will safari for the build quality
Creta is better than alcazar in safety department. Only 5 people are unsafe in creta, while 7 are unsafe in alcazar.
PS - Buy safari for the safety of you and your family. Avoid korean cars which are compromised for Indian market.

Correct me if i am wrong…but the Alcazar will find a lot of takers from people who dont need a three row suv but would love that configuration for once in a while use. Also buyers of top variants of creta can well shift to Alcazar due to overlapping prices. And the ones in the market for a Safari wont buy an Alcazar, Hyundai just plays the game too well, you got to give due credits to them

@@user-ce3qv1xh4u In a way, we can assume so. Seltos who shares same platform scored a mere 3 star. So someone can assume that. Alcazar is built on i20 platform whereas Safari is on a SUV platform. So, there could be an advantage . But here comes irony, tata doesn't show the courage to test both Harrier and Safari.

Safari looks great. It turns the heads of the people around. Has gr8 road presence and macho look. Whereas Alcazar is sober, having people carier look.
There's one problem though, safari's steering is very hard, it isn't meant for comfortable city driving.

@@manoja538 Bro but that dashboard is actually soft touch dashboard whereas the dashboard in Alcazar is full of hard plastics at this price point every car gives nice dashboard hector's dashboard is also leather wrapped.
@@vivaantagra5535 in terms of soft touch yes Safari has the upper hand but the colour scheme in Alcazar with the layout of the centre console and the gearbox area and with that Mercedes like digital cockpit Alcazar gives that sense of luxury feel more

Great review as always. Aatish should have remembered that the Harrier wheelbase is very large as it is and the Safari does not need a longer wheelbase to fit 7 average sized adults.

There are more and more wagons being described as SUVs. Is this leading to the much needed Estate revolution? The Hector Plus and upcoming 7 seat Duster too. Hmm..

@@samarwaje8895 I want to agree. Also, these vehicles are in a grey area between being a wagon and a cross SUV. However, the Duster then becomes a 7 seat Crossover, much like the Mercedes Benz GLS (different segment, but that is a good example of a 7 seat crossover). Very close to being a traditional SUV, yet very far. Quite confusing to sometimes define these segments, isn't it?
