    For those of you who want a quickly removable battery, it might be good to remember that a battery that is easily removable may well be subject to unauthorized removal. Hopefully there will be a rational balance between ease-of-use and security.

    This is a very nice looking electric motorcycle!!! Congratulations with your new purchase and I wish you many safe miles with it!
    My advice to you was call or e-mail Sondors and ask them to send you an owners-manual.
    Also if you would be selling the bike in the future it is always a nice extra bonus for the new owner if you still have the original manual & papers.

The concept looked great, and judging from your video, the real thing is just as good. I ordered the metacycle in December. The website said 100 deposit but they billed my card $5000. I cancelled my order and I have been trying to get my money back ever since. Today they sent me an email asking if I would like to reinstate my order. I guess they think I might rather have the bike than nothing. They are wrong. I know how they treat customers if something fails guaranteed you are left in the cold. These people do not care about their customers at all. I'll sue to get my money back. Better than trying to sue if I get a lemon. Just telling you about my experience with this company, take it for what it's worth.

    Pretty good. The only thing holding me back is the battery. If it can be taken out like they claim and brought inside to be charged then I'm in. That's definitely a requirement. And the other bike I'm looking at has swappable batteries that can double as massive power bricks if necessary. Really cool stuff floating around. But I hope they get that instruction on how to let you take it out to customers soon. Removable/Swappable batteries are a must for those in apartments.

      That being said this is the best full size highway speed e motorcycle in its price range.
      The sur-ron LBX is awesome but tricky to get legal and stock is mopad speeds. The super 73 motorcycle will be nice and should be this bike main competition.

      @smithlongworth7389  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      i'll post a video of me riding soon. just gotta do some editing. it'll most likely be up monday. but one thing i can say is 80mph can be achievable on a good day, 80 mile range would only apply to mostly city riding. hwy speeds, the battery will probably only last 25 miles because thats just how electric vehicles operate. the faster you go the faster the battery drains.

    • @pauliusvindzigelskis2224
      @pauliusvindzigelskis2224 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@smithlongworth7389 it is not specific to EVs, it is about physics - the faster you go, the more wind resistance you get. and wind resistance increases in cubic. when normal efficiency is at 40%, with high wind resistance it can be at 30 or bellow, it doesn't really impact your life much, but EVs are at 90+% efficiency, so anything feels much more impactful

Once people get wind of the fact that the 0 to 60 mph time is 11s, and it can only go 25 miles on a charge as tested by an owner with a phone app, it will be hard to sell one.

    They seriously should of thought really hard on shortening the length of the seat. Absolutely no room for a “backpack”. what if the owner has a partner they wanna take out for a ride. Or running late for work and you gotta drop them off. And I honestly believe they also slimmed down the seat. They can’t possibly think people have an ass that’s going to fit on that skinny ass seat and not hurt or get sore after a few minutes. They should of never shortened that seat.

Also a lot of us normal motorcyclists will probably be swapping out the pegs for something of better quality/performance. Thankfully we live in the era of 3D printers and machine shops. So it shouldn't take too long for the aftermarket to fill in the gaps! 😉
