If you're making programs for people to be using these progressions, you should probably consider adding a progression for the most common problem with the pistol squats, namely the rom in the hamstring. Lots of people are strong enough but can't get the "free" leg high enough up from the ground. Shrimp squats (hold knee like if you're stretching quads) are much easier if you have flexibility issues. But it also probably isn't much of a progression towards actually being able to do pistol squats. Probably pistol squats on a gradually lower box will make it progressively more challenging for the free leg. Or maybe it's possible to sling the rubber band around the shoulders and to the foot, to help lift the leg off the ground.
Those Rings look great and Id love a set, but at $300 CDN plus shipping, cant justify that for a set of Rings that are just light and more compact. The last set of Rings I purchased were from Ireland, they cost me $160 CDN with free shipping. Great video, very informative as always.
The first Superset is a little impractical, as you need to adjust your rings for every set. I'll advise on just doing the pike pushups on something different instead, a chair or a table.
You need to do a colab with coach Ray (Raimonds Liepens) of Voice of Armwrestling out of Latvia. I know you really emphasize wrist conditioning and so would be intrigued with the wrist and elbow conditioning of armwrestlers. It is a different type of conditioning. Think false grip taken far beyond gymnasts and in far more vectors.
I made my own by installing large eyelet screws into a beam, looping hammock straps through them then making pvc and chain handles connected to the straps with the hammock carabiner. the chain links keep the handle from becoming uneven and the strap loops make adjusting the height a breeze
You are awesome. I have been looking for this and the other video for forever. Yes I could cry for joy. Thank you.
This is amazing, I will start doing this now.
I love how "me" is a level above advanced. Humble way of bragging 😂. One day I will be "me"

Awesome 👍💪😁
each set should be close to failure or with space to do 1-2 more reps?
how about abs any tips for abs training with rings?
Will the rings be back on sale? If so, when will they return?
They’re back 💪
@Sondre_Berg Do you usually separate the strength training from the handstand training ?
How many days a week?
Me! :)
